Wang & Phillyd's NBA System Plays

PhillyD and I have created a system to give us the total outcome of NBA games. We judge the games based on a 3 point and 5 point rule. If the spread is off by 3 points or if the over/under is off by 5 points, we look into making the play. We then use our logic based on injuries, trends, etc. whether to make the bet. We have been betting on this system since Friday. So far it has accumulated a 15-9 overall record (7-6 ATS, 8-3 O/U), +5.1 Units. All games have been 1 unit plays up until now. When I post the unit totals, that means the units to win. So for typical -110 1U plays it is saying, 1.1U to win 1U.

Recap: First losing day the system has generated, kind of rushed picks and didn't account for Deron Williams coming back for the Boston game. Miami started the game off well but 2 17 pt quarters hurt us in the end. Can never really account for NY's unpredictability so will probably avoid plays with them from now on. Minny came through though. Regardless, time to rebound tomorrow!

Recap - Went even for the day. San Antonio took care of business as usual, didn't expect them to run out the Bucks like that even though they are a terrible team. OKC/Memphis game was dependent on Memphis getting their half of the points and they did so that was also easy. Counted on Rudy and company to play for the Kings tonight but they didn't. Jazz also shot lights out through 3 quarters.

Recap - The Heat game was just filled with offense and no defense, surprising since both teams were off a b2b. Lakers was an easy under and the Mavs/Milwaukee game was very surprising. No Dirk, no Carlisle and the Mavs still seemed to blow out the lowly Bucks. The Bucks made a run after being down 34 but was only able to cut it down to 13 before the end of the game. SO CLOSE!

Went 2-1 with Houston u213, Minnesota -2.5, and the loss was from Portland that won by 2 at -3.5. Obviously these will not go to our record.

Recap - First day ever with no wins on a single day...kind of disappointed because I felt like these plays were very good, we just got unlucky. Denver didn't play as well as they usually do at home, we barely missed the Lakers over and Cleveland usually plays very good defense at home but not this game.
