Miami -7 -110 3u
This is around the time you start seeing the distinctions between the Elite teams and the nots. Miami without wade's old man legs are actually gonna run much better. Without wade Ray Allen will have more minutes = more free throws and 3pters. And chalmers has gotten aggressive over the summer as a point guard. Much more active and passes much better. Lebron(love to hate him). I think the heats win by 14-19.
Phoenix Suns ML -220 3u
The suns had a good lead but with a little help from the refs and cousins D stepping up BIG, the Kings rallied to create a comeback and held the lead. Now, to more important things. The suns are GREAT at home. I feel that on away games the weight on Dragic shoulders are too much. I think the coach relies on the DRAGON dragic. But if you see the suns at home, a little boost from the fans will go a LONG way. I wouldn't be surprised to see a stretch of 2-4 3s back to back. And we will probably get to see another glimpose of Green's athleticism. With his team mates shooting better dragic will have a much easier time penetrating the paint because his shooters will become such a threat. Now why didn't I take the spread. The suns could easily take off and end the game up by 9-12. But after seeing yesterdays 4th quarter breakdown, I think the starters are starting the feel the stress on their bodies. They could potentially lose the big lead again and force a win by a blob.
Memphis Grizzlies ML +160 2u
The Grizzlies team dynamic is starting to look much better. The defense rotations, the offensive picks. It's true that grizzlies are not much of a threat in the perimeter, much of their shooters are streaky. But that MGasol and Zbo paint lock down, thats good enough for the win here. Without curry, the warriors will not have curry's back to back 3's. Without curry the warriors 3 ball threat is greatly diminished. This means Iggy will have more touches with the ball. If you saw, iggy is def not a point guard. He does not have the finesse, the point guards soft touch. He will turn the ball over at least 3-5 times.
Philadelphia 76ers ML +145 2u
With the return of M. Carter-Williams, the 76ers will not exactly look like a well oil machine in the 1st and some of second quarter. However, as he is playing home, he will get some friendly calls and he will get some momentum on their side. The good thing about Carters return is that Tony Wroten has been holding down the fort fairly well so far. I expect him to lead the bench much better than anything that Craptors have to offer in depth. James Anderson as a defensive minded shooting guard, will stick to DeRozan like a glue, expect to see DeRozan's score in the 12-17 range. Now Rudy Gay will have a field day. M. Carter-Williams 6'6". K. Lowry 6'0". All the experience in the world can not give you half a feet.
