Attn No Coin; RE: Josh Smith
I just saw an interesting stat that I know you'll love.

Josh Smith is averaging 7 three-point attempts per game this season. That's not a typo. SEVEN.

For some perspective, this is the same guy who took 7 threes for the ENTIRE YEAR three seasons ago.

    Anyways... thought you'd appreciate that.

Guy shouldn't be attempting any 3-pters. Won't even look up his stats, but I'm sure he is right around 30% if not under that.

Maybe he thinks he is suppose to attempt more 3's since he moved from PF to SF.

Another great night for the 2 piston new boys

        10-25 fg, 1-5 3pt

I have avoided this team many times this year simply because I don't trust these 2 and it's served me well... lol

It makes me literally sick to see Jennings and especially Smith in Piston uniforms.

What do you expect? He is playing as the SF, Drummond and Monroe as the PF and C. He is of course supposed to be the guy to spread the floor. Anyway, Pistons are just plain stupid to make this trade.

The most inappropriate nickname of all-time.

Bricklayer would suit him much better.

When the Pistons signed Smith, the writing was on the wall. They have plenty of bodies underneath, which allows him to "roam free" on the perimeter and play the wing instead of doing what he does best: crashing the boards and going to the hoop.

This isn't an aberration. This is what he was brought to Detroit to do by fvcking Dumars. And he will continue to do it poorly, because he is not a good perimeter shooter. Doesn't mean he's not going to try, though -- over and over and over and over and over and over again.

They'll get it together. Not saying they're winning EC, but they've got the talent. Kyle Singler all day

Josh Smith hit 1-of-6 shots and missed a couple of awkward 3-pointers before being benched by Mo Cheeks after just two points, two rebounds and a steal in 16 minutes of Tuesday's ugly loss to the Warriors.

Smoove is not injured as far as we know, but has been chucking ill-advised 3-pointers at will all season. It's possible that Cheeks was sending him a message to take better shots going forward, but how Smith will handle tonight's benching is anyone's guess. He's having a decent season, but his shot selection is going to be a problem if Cheeks doesn't reel him in soon, and it looks like the first shot was fired by his coach tonight. Look for him to bounce back on Friday against the Kings. Smoove has hit 11-of-40 3-point attempts in his seven games and is shooting 29 percent from beyond the arc. And we're guessing the Hawks are glad he's no longer launching bad shots in the ATL
