I'm new to sports betting and I play with the bookies in my area.. I can't seem to win with the parlays.. Can you help me out with some suggestions .. It would be highly appreciated .. ThanksComment -
If you're trying to win parlays are not good investments. It is extremely likely that you will lose more on parlays than you can ever win back with them. My most important suggestion is make sure you are not emotionally attached to the money that you bet and to expect wild swings of losses and wins to happen. For making selections my suggestion is to look at a sport that you know about and to bet on lines you think is wrong. What I mean by that is if you think team A should be favored by 5 points, yet the spread is team A -4 then you are getting a small amount of value by betting that line and in theory you should bet it. Also, don't be results oriented. For example if a team you think should be favored by 10 points is only laying 2, then that is a big edge, and you should always bet it, but your bet can still lose. Sports betting is very exhausting and very complicated. I don't know that I will ever get what I want out of it relative to the work that I put in but I do it anyway. Also would like to mention this again, money management is the single most important thing in this game!!! Betting small is the only only only only way to win. You cannot have 5% of your net worth as your regular wager and some people recommend 1% of your bankroll to be the biggest you should go on any bet. Winning or losing a big bet will get to your head and is almost guaranteed to cause trouble. Stay consistent, gamble, but gamble within your means, try to have fun, and try to learn from everything you do, mistake or not!Comment -
