Rookie/Soph Game Line?

Love the sophs, 3 pt shooting is huge in a game like this. Chandler, Durant, and Brooks are all very good shooters. Lopez, Oden and Gasol should hurt their team since they are slow and really dont have a great game inside

Why would you save up all year for an EXHIBITION game? I always stay away from any bets that have to do with All-Star festivities.

well a couple of reasons.

1) most all star games are even competition..but this isnt..you are taking guys who have had a full year and half to develop into NBA players for rookies who have had only 1/2 NBA season..big advantage there
2) the lineups this year are really favorable for the sophs..having three big men who cant score and inconsitent shooters should really help the sophs blow this one open.

Maybe I exagerrated about saving up all year for this one, but it will be a big play.

By the way, middle number is the money line. Looking at paste job, don't want someone thinking line is -5.5 -245.

you nailed it. thats the exact point which makes our case great.

i reserve some juice for this one also. and thats the reasons that im onto this game big.

its a risk that im willing to take.

with you on soph. i think its durants show, with all the practice he had this season. LOL, and jeff with him running the show.

LT, this guy is actually right...I stay away from exhibitions like the plague, but this one is different...a clear advantage on the point spread, and a great game to watch if you like offense...it sounds dumb to some, but the cash is just as green when the ticket cashes. This year is a pretty big mismatch, Rookies should be catching about 10...far better shooters on the Sophs, better athletes almost all around...

the only thing I shy away from is the total, especially people who get sucked into the OVER because they don't realize the difference in the rules...it is played in (2) 20 minute halves, as they do in college...so 251.5 is actually not easy to attain...I do see an easy Sophomore win, if not an embarrasing one where they actually slow the pace towards the end as to save the Rookies some face.

Thats exactly where I had this line around -10 to 11 and its -5...oh yes...I feel exaclty how I felt when I saw NC was -1.5 against Duke...should be an easy vicotry!!! go sophs!!!!

sophs allt he way... more experience and history on their side! line is closer than in recent years due to scoring talent on rooks like mayo, gordon, rose, westbrook.
