What is a tri-bet?

A tri-bet is offered here in Australia at the TAB (which is a bookmaker that is on just about every corner and in every pub) which allows you to choose either Team A to win by more than 5.5 points, Team B to win by more than 5.5 points or, either team to win by less than 5.5 points. So if you think it is going to be a close game, option three normally gives pretty juicy odds. Underdogs to win by more than 5.5 are usually awesome value and sometimes short favorites of 1 to 3 points that you think can win pretty easily, can be had a better price, similar to simply increasing the spread.

TAB is on line as well Leaf. You could probably sign up to them from wherever you are. Only thing is, their regular lines and odds are normally pretty shitty. Only play tri-bets and random other plays where the lines are better. Like yesterday, I had SD at the TAB for $5.50 on the ML where as at Pinnacle they were only like $5.00 or $5.05 if I remember correctly. Good luck with your plays mate. Gotta go look at some houses now.

Better day. Can't believe the lakers game didn't go over after that first quarter. Horrible. And the Cavs collapse was pretty hard to watch as well. But I guess that just shows the talent Portland have right now. Cleveland lost focus for about 3 minutes when they were up by a few early in the fourth, and then in the blink of an eye they are down 8 or 9 points.

I think this coincided with the Cavs not feeding Bynum early in the possessions or letting Waiters (who was absolutely on fire) do his thing. Lopez was also abusing them on the offensive glass and the second chance points started to pile up early.

Just a note though. With Cleveland getting healthy (Bynum, Waiters, Miles) I believe they will turn their season around. Kyrie will have less pressure to make everything happen and we can already see his level of play advance over the last few games. The Cavs will no longer be a push over for the rest of the season if they can keep their core together.

The Orlando and Chicago totals should have cashed easily but instead they both lose by half a point and 3 points respectively. Kyrie Irving played like shit and so did Miles. Can't account for that. But it is the Bulls but I just hadn't seen the normal defensive intensity from them that I'm used to so I did not expect them to contain those two cavs so well.
