Well they are what they are - an old team that doesn't play defense. So on some nights it's gonna look really bad. Think they'll be ok to make it to the playoffs as long as Phoenix don't keep up this ridiculous pace. I've never expected them to win a round.

I think these last couple weeks are going to be tough for your squad. But I could be wrong here.

I dunno, the key stretch is gonna be the 8-game homestand in the 2nd half of March I feel.

Yeah he's great. Another thing that speaks volumes about the guy's coaching is this team always rebounds after losses. I think there's some ridiculous stat that's been thrown out there a couple times this year that the Mavs are like 38-18 (needs to be updated obv) ATS after a loss last 2 years. Yesterday's loss was actually their 1st 3-game losing streak of the year for a team that's lost 26 games which is pretty amazing.

Also led a Dirk-less for half of the season team with Mike James at PG and a different center every game to a 41-41 record last year. Most coaches would've struggled to win 30 games.

btw who do you like in pacers/rockets?

i'm actually in a big period of doubt with indiana, i'm starting to doubt whether they're actually a championship caliber team. maybe i'm way off. obviously has no bearing on 1 game though.

Maybe this is the night they turn it around

But yes, they look bad at the moment. All part of the ebb and flow of an nba season though.

I just don't like Dallas tonight. I think they are going to struggle the last few weeks and Portland is a better team in my opinion.

Nets (before Zbo news) and Wizards opened favored over them so I sorta thought Chicago would be laying like 3 given how well they've played at home of late and just in general. Granted Nets and Wiz are playing well too.

Are the Bulls better than either of those teams though? Memphis is better than all 3.

Well not necessarily as far as I'm concerned but in terms of records and public perception I'd say yes.

Agreed on Memphis plus which they're the desperate team. Chicago always play hard though. Should be a good game.

It's because Noah is doughtful with thumb injury, I'm a bulls homer so wouldn't bet against them the way bulls have been playing. Bulls struggle vs Western offensive teams but have been able to score recently; bulls match up well vs teams like Memphis

Memphis isn't your typical WC team though - and the Bulls did recently beat the Warriors. But that was a recurring theme in their early struggles agreed, got blown out by the Clippers and Mavs, lost handily to the Wolves...

Chi is a very underrated team that many don't take seriously bc of rose.
Noah is playing at an all star level and gibson has been great all year as well in his role.
If anything, memphis and chi are about the same level. So give the bulls 3 for home court.

Noah is playing. Injury will not affect what he does.

Perhaps the money is cause of the look ahead for chi? Plus revenge for memphis.

I expect a focused Pacers team tonight. They've been slipping lately but I think they will come out strong tonight. Let's see if they can turn things around and get out of this little slump.

I sincerely apologize if anyone tailed on Pacers. I wanted to believe that Indiana was going to right the ship but I should have gone with my gut opinion.

I want Pacers to figure it out and win the East. This bias got in the way of a good pick. One of my last comments on this game was that Rockets could win by 20+. If I would have trusted those instincts, it would have been an easy win on Houston.

I was mainly focused on college yesterday and even earlier today. I didn't even really look at yesterday's card.

Looks like sharps are on Minnesota today. Line has moved up to 5.5. I think I'm on the record here saying that I think T-wolves will make a push. Whether or not they get into playoffs contention remains to be seen as they have some work to do. They have been playing solid ball though.
