I think this is a prime opportunity to back Miami. I always try to pick and choose my spots when I take this team and I think tonight is a good one. The Heat need to get back on track and Atlanta is coming back to earth a bit. I expect a strong defensive effort from Miami tonight. They play their best when they are in lockdown mode. They won't mess around in this one.

Grizzlies -7.5 -105 (2x)

Memphis is playing good ball. This might be a tough cover but I think they will end up winning by 10+ when it's all said and done.

I was debating the Miami game... showed some grit and defense in the 2nd half against the Cats' for the OT win. I agree that Miami will play stronger defensively, Miami is not a team that generally loses consecutively to teams.

Also like the Grizzles to make up in the Win column against a team they have yet to beat this season, especially with Anderson and Holiday nursing injuries. On the ML however.

I also think the Rockets are good spot bet tonight, with Portland being sandwiched between this match- up and tomorrow's against OKC.

Charlotte played like total dogshit for their west coast trip but they were playing decent before that and seem to be back on track. It helps to have Kidd-Gilchrest back as well. Clippers are just giving too many points on the road here.

Houston is one of those streaky teams. I think their arrow is pointing up after beating Portland by double digits. There is a revenge angle in this game as well as a letdown spot for Sacramento coming off a blowout win last night.

Spurs will win by double digits tonight. Thunder have been riding a red hot KD but they won't have an answer for San Antonio tonight. Spurs should put up minimum 100-105 but probably more.

Those are decent reasons plus Portland looks like they may be coming back down to earth a bit.

I expected this this line to be like -8....seems a bit low which would be more reason to take Denver.

With that said, I don't trust this Nuggs team at a place like Portland.
