I don't know what to make of the line move. I liked Pelicans when it opened and then didn't bet it when I couldn't get 3.

I don't think so. It was at +3 when it reopened after yesterday's game and the Bogut suspension was 100% already known. Not sure if Iggy was 100% out as no-one really knows how long he's gonna be out for but I think it was kinda implied from the start he'd be sitting out this one. Hasn't been an update on him all day.

I remember some theory about fading big line moves but not sure if that applies here. Have no play on any of the games as of now. BOL

Damn, wish I could have gotten 4.5. Ended up with Wiz -5 and pushed. Can't complain though, Gasol missed a point blank lay up at the end.

Goat 40 yr olds don't stay healthy. Only guy with a shot of doing that will be Ray. That's it.

Lakers were very smart this offseason finding cheap perimeter players. Henry was always a very good player.

No surprise they are better without Dwight. Gasol is a much better center especially in today's game.

Dwight's attitude is what ruined them. Gasol is no dwight howard. Dwight took an average team to the nba finals because he was the main man. Tough to change that attitude, I thought Bryant would be able to get through to him but they turned into enemies.

Nash will stay healthy. He will only play 20 min per game because LA has Blake and Farmar who need 20 min each too. Perfect trio of PGs for Kobe Bryant.

Lakers are a force, watch.

Nash going down in the 2nd game of the season killed that team last year. He will still a top 5-7 PG in 2011/12. Obviously Dwight's attitude was the other main problem.

You act like Howard carried that team. Howard was a better player back then but he had a team surrounding him that was very difficult to guard. You couldn't double team Howard because back then Turkoglu, Lewis, Lee, etc would make you pay. On top of that, it was a very weak Eastern Conference because Boston wasn't healthy.

You and I have had the Howard argument a thousand times before. Forget about his attitude. He still doesn't have good post moves. I will say that he does not get the benefit of the doubt with calls. Shaq used to get away with whatever he wanted - he was unguardable and rarely ever got called when he threw his elbows around to create space. Howard gets called for it every time.

I think so too. This is an ideal spot to bounce back for them. Bad matchup for Dallas as well IMO, especially on a back to back? TWolves might put up 120 on them lol.

Yeah I am. I do expect them to be better than last year (41-41 with Dirk missing 25+ games and Mike James at PG, no Center, and I could go on.. miracle not to have a losing season with that trainwreck roster) and have a good shot to make the playoffs. The West is so tough though that it's hard to imagine anything more.

Oh ok - good to know. I didn't follow their leans much at all of late - I was just looking to bet Minny 1H so I got on sbrodds to see where I wanted to bet it and noticed Pinny's line. Anyway I can imagine it's not infallible, nothing is. It's just a theory many of us have here I guess.

They really seem to be keen on Dallas though - full game line has even moved to 2.5 and still -0.5 1H. This is like a GOY for them it seems
