I would assume the starters would be out there since the regular season is right around the corner

Never mind .. It's a glimmer of good news for the Knicks, who enter the exhibition without key rotation players Amare Stoudemire, Kenyon Martin, J.R. Smith and Raymond Felton. Shumpert is expected to start at least the first five games of the year at SG, after which he'll battle Smith for the job. Via Rotoworld
