schaap - i saw your post in the other thread. i know you have your own formula - but just an fyi - that big 3 point swing today in the spurs game was the adjustment made when the news that ginobli was announced out. good luck pal

nothing to disagree about - thats why the line moved at that time from spurs -2 to det -1

in the long haul, the strategy should hit equally in both cbb and nba. we are dealing w/ a very small sample size right now w/ around 6 nba games and 20-some-odd cbb games. if shaap keeps this thread going for a while, i'm sure we'll see that after 100+ games in each sport (which is still a small sample size) we will notice similar results between cbb and nba.

if i understand correctly, i think shaap is doing more than just trying to follow sharp money- but when i first started doing this, that's all that I did. i would bet on teams where i couldn't name a single player on the team, but if i noticed a certain line trend (sharp money) that i liked, i made it a play. i found my nba results to be much better than my cbb results so i kept to the nba for a while.. obviously shaap is doing a much better job than i was and is hitting at an excellent rate in both! (imo sides are easier to pick using this strategy, which shows in his results as well) in the end, i would expect for both nba & cbb to hit at an equal clip using this approach.

oh, and i agree w/ Dex about cs11787 and other members constantly asking for plays in this thread (among others). you folks gotta cool it with that shiz. shaap has been posting his plays EVERY day since he started the thread (baring the all-star break obviously). there is no need to ask these same questions every friggin day. just check the thread 15-20min prior to tip-off times and if he's got any plays, hop on 'em.
