Dude, with all due respect, basketball is so much more cohesive and consistent (and I know both the american leagues and euro leagues are inconsistent as well) than football that its not even battle. This moments that happened today are on in a lifetime in soccer, well, not one in a lifetime, but very few. The overall exciment of basketball as a game is so much bigger. And I'll be fair, just so no one says Im biased, I know there sports who even exceed basketball in that department.

Anyway, tonight was amazing. Ronaldo deserved this. He's actually not my favorite player on the pitch anymore, not after he left Man U, but he his an amazing guy with an amazing will to win and he's one of the best GOATs I've seen in every sport as a person, even though his personality is lots of times wrongly bad mouthed by the media and the haters. I now sincerely hope he doesn't win the golden foot, because it will be the ultimate proof that the award has been thrash in the last couple of years and there will be no more good arguments too defend FIFA, its godfathers and its puppets.

No. Ronaldo deserves it of course. I just don't really care for the award and if he in fact does not win it, than it will be that ultimate proof that all those that Messi won over Ronaldo do not matter that much to evaluate both of their carreers.
