my unit size range from 1 to 5u (in theory, bcs it would be an absolute belief in my part that the line was a gift from the books for me to bet 5u in a game).

A quick breakdown of my units plays this year:
1x 4u (L)
1x 3.5u (W)
2x 3u (L W)
1x 2.5u (L)
2x 2u (8W 10L)
73x 1.5u (50W - 22L - 1P) 65%
207x 1u (104W - 101 - 2P)
1x 0.5u (L) big moneyline parlay -- rare to do this


After a deep study (20 days after the season started, so in mid November) on my previous betting patterns in previous years, I've come to the conclusion that betting 1.5 units per bet (if your usual bet size is one unit) is the safest and smartest thing to do on your strongest leans/plays.

People don't realize that this is a marathon of almost 8 months and if you want to make a living out of this or just win extra money for the vacation, you have to be very savvy when it comes to money management. 1.5u might not seem much (for the play of the day or strongest play etc etc) but in reality that represents a 50% increase in your risk take and in the future profit/loss on the outcome.

In my mind it was the perfect spot to take the Wolves straight up as dogs. As it turnout I was lucky enough for them not to fade away in the end (as usual) and pull through a 6 point deficit.

Also the late plays helping a rough start(houston Q1 and Over Q1), I just want to say: Thank you Rockets!

As a side note, but interesting, I've bet 23 days out of 23 possible this month and only had 3 losing days (8th Feb. -2.71u; 11th Feb -0.56u; 12th Feb -0.85u)!! That's 20 days in the $GREEN$ and currently in a 14 days winning strike!
