Yes, we can! Plays for Wednesday, 4 Feb 2009
Okay, here's what I like, still unsure about Thunder - opinions? And I'll probably make a play on the Lakers, someone persuade me! lol

    "Yes, we can!" Plays
    Golden State Warriors +4 (B 1)
The Warriors have been playing some good and fast ball lately and only just went down to the Spurs, while the Suns had a blow out win against lowly, injury depleted the Kings. The Warriors have defeated the Suns outright here in 4-1 in the past 5 games at Golden State, and the loss being only by 3 points. The Suns are 5-14 when playing against a team with a losing record and 4-12 versus poor defensive teams - allowing 99+ points/game. I’ll also make a small moneyline play here.
    4.8 UNITS 5.5 UNITS

    Cleveland Cavillers -4 (B 1 ½)
The Knicks have been playing well lately, but not to the extent of the Cavs. The Cavs have already beat New York this season, twice, and that at an average of 22 points (1 home, 1 away). New York might keep this close for the first half or so of the game but doubt it’ll be close by the end – considering the way the Cavs have blown out their opponents their last three games.
    3.6 UNITS 3.3 UNITS

    Virginia Commonwealth -9 1H (NCCAB)
CK’s secret plays. See his thread if you want more, these plays are on FIRE!
    3.3 UNITS

    New Jersey Nets +1
Not sure why Wizards are giving points here. They haven’t been playing well lately and their only recent win was against a dismal Clippers team. The last 5 games played at Washington, NJ covered and won them 4-1. This season they are 3-1 as a road underdog of 3 points or less & 16-8 ATS when playing away, while the Wizards are 2-9 ATS against Atlantic division opponents. Washington is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games at home. NJ seems like a decent pick here.
    1.1 UNIT

    Potential plays

    Oaklahoma City Thunder +6 (B 1)
Denver did play some lazy ball against a second string San Antonio last night. But the Thunder had a close loss against Sacramento, but had been very good at home prior to that. They will want revenge for their recent home loss against Denver. They are gelling together as a team really well and I believe they will keep this close. Oak city are 7-1 ATS when playing with 2 days rest and 13-4 ATS versus good offensive teams - scoring 99+ points/game. Opinions?

    Los Angles Lakers -6 (B 2)
Toronto are in a very bad spot right now and the Lakers historically have been all over them. Only thing I'm worries about is Andrew Bynum being out, will that affect them up forward?

That's all I have, hopefully this hot streak can continue rolling...

i love the Cleveland & New Jersey Plays. Lakers will win also, as they handled the in-form Knicks the other day easily, as long as Kobe fires this is a safe bet. Good luck and i hope u keep ur run going cos i will be on ur picks tomoro

        Locked

ORL -13 (kill the lights tonight.....blowout style)
NJ+1 (revenge play vs the 20 point loss at home in December and the 16-8 ATS road record for the nets just makes me wanting even more the nets plus the point....)

does anyone think the warriors might have matchup problems against amare? Amare had 36 on them last time they met. Biedrins played 20 minutes against him and had 5 fouls.

I'm with ya man......Pistons have lost their last 4 home games and i think that streak ends against the Heat on Wednesday

I'm putting a small play on Detroit and a small play on Cleveland.

I'm also gonna look at some college games

loving the lakers play --- dont forget Lakers didnt have bynum last year and they were winning also -- if my memory is correct they covered alot of games after bynum was out b/c it was during the time they just got Pau Gasol

only problem i have is kobe he does need to distribute ball more - i see pau, kobe, and lamar having great games from now till end of season - another reason is Toronto sucks I'm trying something new this week and betting against them all week and seeing how that goes so far 1-0 haha

also loving the CLeveland play - LBJ loves playing at MSG so far the last few games at MSG been blow out 119 - 101 , 118 - 82 - i'm seeing a triple double for him and resting 4th quarter haha so maybe safer bet is 1st half

obama_mania, I have to say your picks are great!

I've been following them for the past couple of days, and I've made some cash on the NBA ones.

Just wanted to know what book you're using to get the spreads?

I'm using bodog, but I can't buy points on most of the games (I had the cavs at -6...).

Had all those games down, but couldn't find reason to pull the trigger on the "potential plays". But law of averages says I'm due for a bad run soon! lol

Unless the Suns score 20 unanswered in 8 minutes, it's 3-1 tonight.
