    Beasley to the Heat

Miami taking alot of gambles this season. Very curious to see if these pay off or back fire.

Sport Fish there are 11 players ahead of Beasley on the Heat Roster.

        Lebron
        Wade
        bosh
        Allen
        Birdman
        Chalmers
        Battier
        Cole
        Haslem
        Oden
        Lewis

How is this a gamble again?

The gamble is that just because the player isn't getting minutes (or limited minutes) on the court, doesn't mean he isn't a part of your brand. Clearly, the guy has issues, and we all know the types of things drugs can lead to when it comes to pro athletes. Can you imagine if another incident happens with him, how much damage that does to the Miami Heat brand. The cost of his salary is not material so it wouldn't matter to the franchise, but taking on players like this is a massive gamble that any businessman would understand. The damage they can inflict on ur business is far worse than the potential benefit they could provide to you.

I'm not saying it will happen - heck he could end up playing better than ever for all we know, being under such strong leaders and this team, but its certainly a possibility, so hence the gamble.

i think the Heat got better.. if Oden pays off.. and plays well...

rebounding problems are over. Lock up three-peat

Miami was terrible on the glass. and repeated.

as well won 27 games in a row..

no Olympics for Wade or Lebron.

looks good so far. Let's see

I hate the Heat myself but cmon guy, do you really think anyone is going to take anything he says seriously? Other than the big 3 and a select few the rest of the team is just enjoying the ride collecting rings. And btw, there are way more people that smoke weed in the nba than you are aware of.. the smart ones just dont get caught. Worst case scenario if it doesn't work out, he rides the bench and the heat still have a little bit better of a roster overall than last year.. More pros than cons

Heat now have a deeper bench, but I suspect the 4 year jinx as far as nba finals goes will bite them...most teams don't win it going quadruple back to back trips. Lebron and Wade will keep Beasley in line just like Jordan and Pipper did with Rodman...
