well hunt3r, it's a win/win for you. I think you said that you're not betting this game. So, no matter what the result, you break even for the game. That's the best thing to do when you feel there's a trap game, but can't pull the trigger on the other side.

I def. know where you're coming from thinking wise on the Pistons. But, if I like the Pistons, I also wouldn't bet this game. But, since I like the C's. I got em.

Boston is on fire and I'm sticking with them. After a good homestand, they are off to Detroit where they are 6-1 ATS over the last 3 seasons. The Pistons are not on the same level as the Celtics right now and it will show. Rip Hamilton is also questionable.

I like the T'wolves alot as an upstart team, and they usually represent a very good bet ATS as a dog, but they were beaten soundly last time out when it mattered most vs. the pistons in the 4th qtr. I expect LA to be just angry enough off SU loss to do the same tonight.

I've already locked in Boston -5.5 and I'm considering the Boston -3 at the half as well. A full-strength Celtics team is a force to be reckoned with.

Someone mentioned that the Raptors blew a late lead against the Nets, which is true, but don't forget: Vince Carter and the Nets love to try pulling off that late comeback against the Raptors. With Calderon back, the Raptors have been playing a lot better, and they're on a mission to get back into the playoff race. They how important it is to get wins at home, and I don't think they'll have a problem covering the spread against the Bucks tonight. Ideally, Ridnour and Bogut will be out of tonight's game. Either way, if Bogut does play, he'll be seeing limited minutes.

for my part, I completely agree, and the only reason the Nets were ever in that game is because Vince Carter turns into a demon when playing the Raps. I got a push when the nets came back but I am confident enough to put my money on them tonight

Last game they were -17, there were people saying that was a trap, guess what, they covered. The game before that was supposedly a trap and the one before that and the one before that and even the one before that.

In my opinion the bookies keep making huge shifts to get people thinking like this.

I've seen others do this before, they keep thinking, trap, trap, trap while the team is on a role, by the time they eventually put some money on them the run is over and they loose.

Even if Boston don't cover tonight its just a tiny loss compared to what they won me on their run, this is why getting a team on the run can be such a great cash cow.

i love the way toronto is rounding into form - the bucks are now in a state of flux without their leading scorer redd for the rest of the year. toronto is 3-1 ats the last 4 at home to the bucks - the 3 su wins came by an avg margin of 22ppg. this is also a revenge angle for the raptors off of a loss at milw earlier in the year.
