    How to snap a slump..
Well I am in a slump and any suggestions would help. My last 10 plays I am 2-8. Nfl playoffs I was 7-3 against the spread. Today I had under 207 in the bulls/wolves game. If I won it would have erased a whole week of losing. Well with a minute left the under looked like the best pick, under by 15. But what happened?? The game went to overtime thanks to the bulls messing up a victory and losing in ot. I even followed one of John M pks earlier Georgetown...yes I know that lost too!

Being in many slumps myself main advice I can give you is to stay focused. Can get crazy at times and you pick things that you normally wouldn't with the right mindset. Everyone goes thru slumps, just try to keep your risks and "all in" calls to a minimum. GL

I am listening to everyone here... and tonight I did not take bulls just the under with a minute left and the under winning by 15...I thought the slump was over...till the tie and ot ruined it!

The bulls do make me sick! I am going to strike against them big one day this year...they owe me those miserable s.o.b.s

Any more advice I am listening how about following curious or John M system till I come out of it?

The John M plays (I will call them for sake of conversation) have been hitting at a high rate. They're are not plays every day but winning once every day or two is much better than losing everyday. I would follow those plays as they have been profitable overall for most who have been following these plays...myself included. I would definatley do this after taking a couple days to clear my head. It sometimes helps to step away for a bit and come back with a clear concious. I'd say the easiest money today was the Hockey game over and the Boston game. CHI was a system A play today which they covered...so there are some opportunties. You should follow CK's threads if you aren't already...there is a lot of good information being passed around and lots to be gained. You can find him on NCAA starting this week as he's going to concentrate more on NCAA than NBA for a few.

Thanks everyone... I will not bet more and chase. I would like to know exactly how the john m system or anyone claiming to have a winning system in any basketball works. I heard of this system comments anyone? The system is one where in the college games you bet the unranked home favorite over any ranked road dog....

You're going to have good Win streaks and bad losing streaks. If you keep your units proportional and keep good money management, you'll be fine in the long run. Sorry about that total. Bad beat on that.

wolves have been scoring high last few games, bull got no answer for al jeff, and chicago can put some points too because they dont play defense. that was bad bet. georgetown, i lost some money on that too.

just hang in there, we all go tru ups and downs. just bet ur minimum units/ wager for next few days, so u can enjoy the thrill of gambling/action. just dont bet everything and try to make up for ur losses. someone earlier said limit ur all in bets, thats a VERY good advise to follow.

                              good luck and have fun

Hey, slumps absolutely suck, but it's part of the business. Honestly, stay focused, and stay in control. It's easy to try and chase back your wins, and that's where most people go wrong and throw their money down the drain. Think of it as a marathon, not a sprint. Don't try to hit a home run, a few singles will do the trick.

Take a few days off and don't even think about betting on sports; come back with a clear mind. Best of luck.

Take some Ritalin or Adderall and pull an all nighter. I saw a friend of mine do that once and boy did it work wonders for him. I think he went 6-0 the next day. He snapped a streak of 6-23.
