Utah Jazz -1.5

The line started out at Jazz -1. I got on the game when it got to Utah Jazz -1.5. Over 54% money is already on the Cavaliers but the line is going against the Jazz instead of for them. I don't like to bet with the public. The Cavaliers played a long hard game with the Golden State Warriors and barely squeaked out a win. They are due for a letdown and nobody would be totally surprised if they lost to the Jazz.

Hmm, I don't like the Wizards on the road. They will be outmaned in this game..

Hmm, I got Portland -8. Bought 2 points but I still think the Blazers will win by 10 plus points. The Blazers plays no defense but they will outman the Wizards and Wizards are on the road as well..

BOL Johnny, my main reasoning for the Washington pick is that the public kept betting on Portland 74% but the spread went in favor of Portland instead of against them. Washington really sucks, we all know this. But I see no good reason for the books to increase the line in favor of Portland when they have over 74% of the action already. The books know more then I do and I have had great luck betting against the public. Case in point, yesterday's game Cavs vs. GSW. The line started at Cavs -6.5, the public was huge on the Cavs and the line went down to Cavs -5.5. The Cavs ended up winning by 1 point.

No doubt Washigton loses this game. But will they lose a +11 spread, which is now down to +10? My money is that the books will win a lot of money on this game but not mine.

Closing Lines for Wizards vs Trailblazers

Trailblazers received 74% of tonight's action and the line kept going up in favor of the Trailblazers. The line started at Trailblazers -11 and ended Trailblazers -9.5. A full point and a half in the wrong direction. I doubled my bet just before gametime.
