Rondo takes beating after beating each night, and just gets up and knocks down free throws. This guy has gotten countless key players from other teams into foul trouble with his relentless style of play when he starts to feel it. Especially at home.

I don't see Crazyl getting on Lebron for bricking major free throws in big spots very often. But I guess Rondo doesn't do commercials and get all over the media....so the critics come attack quicker and more often.

He does get reffered as "Mr.Bruise" quite often by announcers. But im sure crazy will change his mind after he watches a few games. I just think its espn that hes watching and not the actual games.

Crazyl lives in Texas, if he doesnt pay the $200 for the NBA package each season, he only gets the chance to see a game once in a while involving Boston. We watch most of their games, so can account better for him. He is not the player you will get a general idea about by seeing his stats on paper or seeing a TNT game tonight.

everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. For me, as Celtic fans, we could do better with other point guard.. It is up to you to agree or disagree with me. Against lesser teams, Rondo opens up a lot of spaces whicah can be utilized by other players.. Against big teams and organized defence, he makes too many mistakes IMHO..

Again, you are entitled to your opinion.. THis is my point of view ( i watch 65% of celtics game -- eventhough they are only on television)

You know what's also great about them having Rajon:

He is YOUNG (and loves to listen to his veteran team mates). They are still owning the conference and winning rings, but when the other elite teams/guards continue to age, he will be in his prime with hopfully a successful jumper added to his game to really shut the critics up.

He has gotten so much better since obtaining the Big 3.

Crazyl, do you have the NBA package? I want to know how often you watch games involving the player you just bashed.

                        Thanks,
                        Tony.

Rondo doesn't ruin the Celtic offense but he was placed into a great position. Imagine if he didn't have Pierce, Allen, or Garnett. Where would he be? He'd look foolish because he'd have no one to pass it to and he can't hit the open jumper (everyone knows that). People give him the wide open shot because they dare him to shoot or they're too busy trying to defend the other stars on the team. He still has a lot of learning to do because sometimes he doesn't even trust himself (look at the recent skid he just had). He'll try to drive and create when nothing is there instead of just shooting the open jumper that the defense is giving him. In any case, I think the jury is still out on the kid. Tell me how he fares when Garnett, Pierce, and Allen retire.

Rondo probably does better in the remaining 35% of Celtics games you don't watch.

What do they say..."If it aint broke, don't fix it". Well the Celtics aren't broke, and Rondo is apart of them. If they do have any issues, it's the depth of their bench...which he is not apart of.

                              .

i dont think he really "ruins" it... I just think celtic would be a much more dangerous team than they are right now with a "better" point guard..

he is one of the best in his position coz he is a pest in offense, cant read the mind and play of a maniac, and defense coz he likes to mix it up while using his speed and length. but is not a superstar with a high salary and ego like the people you mentioned.

it is hard to get a young guy like rondo without the years of experience playing as a starter and leading the charge with three multi millionaire superstars.

                                    you get the idea

Yea Crazyl, Rondo sure ruined their offense.

They only scored 74 points in this first half against Dallas on National TV.
