PittChic that gambles, I would just stay away from this game all together, 3500 bankroll is nice to start, I say you should start off putting 100 to 300 on all of the games you like not taking more then 5 games a day. The reason for this thread is I got up over 35k in the last 2 weeks, so this week is just for fun and a little experiment.Comment -

Ok I would recommend that you stay away from parlays all they do is decrease your odds of winning. 2 team parlay, you have 1 in 4 chance but it only pays 2.25 to 1 so you can see there is not much value in that.
Secondly don't blindly follow anyone, there are some very good cappers on here, but as with anything people get hot and people go cold, it is your money so the ultimate decision is always yours. I recommend you look at some things that you like, then investigate some peoples records on here and what they have to say about each game. When you agree that becomes a play, if you are gambling for fun and want to take alot of things, maybe put 50 on each, if you are gambling to make profits, limit your plays and increase number of dollars. I haven't had a good chance to look at stuff yet. But follow this thread to see what I like, I'm only allowing myself to lose 5k this week, that way I keep my winnings so if I start off 0-2 my week will be over. I actually like them alot, Dallas on moneyline is very good value. Sixers have been playing great at home, but to get Dallas at +160 or better, you can't beat that. I can't get a read on that Houston game yet, if you play Dallas moneyline, I suggest you play the spread as well, example 100 spread and 50 moneyline. Nothing worse then only having moneyline then your team loses on a buzzer beater and you get nothing.Comment -

Word to the Wise
Dont follow anyone on these boards #1 . DO your homework and take the info on the boards for what it's worth. If it feels right to you after doing your homework then it usually is a good choice 60% of the time if your lucky. If you follow the boards you could possibly loose everything in a day or make that 3500 into 10K very easy. Start off small bets to get the feel on who actually has the best info if your going to play off of others all the time. You did end up in a good mix of company with strictlywenner. He is good company and won't point you in the wrong direction. Good Luck!

well put it this way, I am more of gambler for profit as you described in one of your previous posts. I like to bet bigger dollars on less bets. Im thinking of 1000 moneyline and 500 point spread..not sure though..gonna research a bit more.Comment -

I really like the over for the game even with the point drop...D'Antoni has brought the run and gun to NY and they will be pressing the issue. I am from Chicago and the bulls can hang around and score witht he best of them atleast early on. So I definitely like the first half over as the game may slow down in the second half. Both the Knicks and Bulls can shoot 3's, so the over is very possible.

Pittchic, 1000 and 500 huh, with a 3500 bankroll, a girl after my heart. I think I'm in love, as big a risk taker/idiot as me. I do suggest you start off a little more conservative, atleast on these first plays, I don't see a step out game yet, I will let you know as soon as I do. Step out games, there is maybe 1 a day, it is where the spread is off by 5 points or more, these games are rare and hard to pin point, take it easy until I find one for you that you like. Take a look at CockKnockers plays, he seems to do well in NBA.Comment -

If you can't get a good read, then just stay away. Sometimes the addiction takes over and we get caught up in the action, it happens to the best of us. Best thing to do if you have mixed feelings is to just leave it alone. As I said I will look for a real good one for you.

Pitt Chic what did I tell you about Parlays? They are for losers or for fun, small little plays, you are risking 30% of your roll on a parlay, not a good habit to have, if this hits, which I really hope it does, I'm going to take you under my wing, and we will play smarter from now on.
