Thanks for pointing that out but NO is not a play today because NJ is also a top 10 team, so the NO series will end at bet A with a loss, next time they are a play I will play them as a bet A.

The only way a martingale system will win, is if each of the bets in the martingale system has a positive expected value (ie. a -110 bet wins over 53% of the time).

If you make bets with negative expected value you will lose regardless of your betting scheme.

Kelly Criterion method of betting is the optimum way to grow your bankroll, but (for me) its essentially impossible to use since its to difficult to predict the liklihood of winning a bet. (ie. its difficult to say "this team will cover 57% of the time).

You will never be able to make money only winning 33% of your bets while betting -110 games.

If you could then that would mean roulette is beatable, because everyone can win red/black or odd/even more than 33% of the time. and in roulette the payout is 1 to 1.

By all means I encourage DD to show all of us how you can win using a martingale system while only winning 33% of the bets.

Its not that I dont like what he's saying, its that he's feeding people BS.

If you could win long term by only winning 33% of your bets then sports betting wouldnt exist because the books would have went bankrupt and lost a LONG time ago.

Open up your eyes and learn to think.

Or better yet learn math.

but winning sports betting isnt easy, otherwise everybody could be doing it.

Money management is very important. Bad money management will lose you money, but good money management will not win you money. Good money management will only put yourself in a position to make money if your picks are good. Without good picks you cant win longterm.

Otherwise you would be able to win games such as roulette.

Hey Jordan, I think you should just keep track of the Morrison bets and maybe the road trips as a separate total since the guy that was doing Morrison's system seems to have stopped posting. I think the problem with this system is that you are playing top-10 teams only and there is a bias on the lines of teams that are good performers.

Also you can't complete all your chases because sometimes the teams play another top-10 team on their next game and I believe that is the ultimate flaw of this system.

Just a thought.

You are right, the fact that a lot of the series cannot be continued is a big flaw. To everyone following this, i will create a new thread where i track only Morrison's plays and also a system that cartytay follows where he plays a series just like Morrison but even if it is not an out of conference road trip.
