First of all I need to explain the rules of play. My plays are from 5 units to 15 units. I will use the following criteria. I will start the present format today and continue it for a while. also i will offer some handicapping tips. We have a 20,000 game data base and use the same manipulations to figure games. Everything is mechanical with no emotions and has withstood the test of time.
For every drop in the spread the game loses a unit of strength. If it gets better i use whole point rather then a half. Thus a 3 point difference to the would make a 10 unit play a no play. When I post I have already established a power rating and work off that. All plays start at 10 units unless it is a double strong play, then it starts at 15 units. Remember if the spread is off by 3 or more to the bad it becomes a no play. when a 15 unit play drops 1/2 point to the bad , it gos down 2 units in value.
I do not play games when key players are out of a game from one game to the next unless I note it. You must be aware of that and pass. Yesterday was an example. Cleveland was a no play because of a player not playing. YOU must keep with this especially when I post early.
I will start my games today. using these rules.I was posting on another site with very good results. They thought I was promoting a web site so I will posting here. I was talking about Matchbook and was not promoting it even though they themselves said good things about them. Go figure!
Tor - 4 1/2 8 units
Okla +3 1/2 6units
Utah - 4 1/2 5 units
Cleve -3 1/2 10 units
Minn +8 6 units
Orl + 4 1/2 11 units
G S + 1 1/2 7 units.
There are more plays tonight then I have had in a week.
Hard to figure out why they all came at the same time. You can expect my plays to hit 60%+ in unit value. Evaluate them before using them as plays. There are many false Messiah out there and you need to separete the wheat from the shaft.
