Dwyane Wade says he missed the start of the third quarter Tuesday night because his surgically repaired left knee swelled up at halftime.

Wade said Wednesday afternoon his left knee, which he had operated on following last season, was still swollen and sore after Tuesday's Game 6 overtime win. The Heat guard is already dealing with bone bruises in his right knee, which Wade said is more painful than last season's knee injury. Wade only managed 14 points on 6-of-15 shooting in 36 minutes Tuesday night, but we can't foresee any injury or ailment keeping him off the court for Thursday's Game 7. Whether Wade is healthy enough to make a difference is another issue entirely.

Honestly, Heat play better when he is off the floor..there is another shooter on the floor which opens up the lane for LJ as opposed to clogging it up with another man when D-Wade is on the floor

Regardless if he is hurt or not, when he plays like shit, the Heat are better off without him. I don't pay much attention to +/- differential stats, but I found this interesting.

Wade had a +/- of -15 yesterday, played 37 minutes and his team still won. He played nearly the entire game, had a -15 pt differential and his team still won. Wow.

wade is done. he is just too slow these days. compare him to lebron during the game. hes not quick enough to penetrate anymore. he wants to go in the paint but gets stuck and has to pass the ball. his jumpshoot is even worse.

spoelstra is a fukking idiot, because hes afraid of wades ego ant cant bench him. that MAY cost them a championship. wade must come off the bench and give all his got for 20-25 minutes. then he can have one or two efficient quarters that actually benefit the miami heat

Agreed he is old and hurt , never been much of a shooter he is best when going strong at the bucket and defending well on the other end. And with a bum knee it obviously has an effect. Not gonna say he is lazy he just simply is not healthy which is why he cannot go strong all the time and just has spurts.

Wade is still one of the better players on the floor, good handles, basketball iq, defense only thing lacking is his jumper and driving ability. I can see Spo taking him out though if he starts getting ran off the court probably won't play big minutes regardless he's looked avg/below avg all playoffs.
