Which is exactly my point. Try to find MJ with this type of slump in ANY game. ANY game, post, pre or reg season. MJ was the GOAT and the Lebron comparisons are just silly. I get it, It's to give the media something to talk about but there's a lot of young fans or straight homers that actually believe that shit. if you are a reasonable person that's seen both of them play you know that MJ just knew how to score buckets. James has gotten in this type of funk on too many occasions in the biggest of stages.

That said, the Heat look tired as shit. Did they go out and party on the Riverwalk last night? Isn't the Spurs the old legs team? did Indy take out more than we thought of the Heat?

he was 35 years old and carried the team the last 6 minutes of that game. Let me know when a Prime Jordan played scared.

No I totally agree....I started a big thread on the difference mentally between LeBron and the great ones a couple weeks ago.

I saw Bird hit 10 or 11 threes in a row in the 3 pt shooting contest but Danny Green does it in the game...unreal. He cannot miss

He has to get run outs because he doesn't get many dunks in the half court.
For the record I completely agree. Grew up on Jordan, firmly believe he is the best ever. Lebron is not in the conversation at this point. Could he play his way there? Maybe.

Huh? He had 28 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists??? Kind of sucked? Are you crazy?

I know you are a Pacer fan so you should know that that was an absolutely ridiculously good Pacer team. Those fukker could shoot lights out. I've never ever seen a team shoot that well over a 7 game series. They were just as physical as the old Detroit bad boys and you never got good looks because they were always in your face. I don't look much into MJ's shooting percentage because that was an incredible Pacer team. I use to go to a lot of game in the East back then and there were some very good teams.

The Pacers had Reggie Miller, Chris Mullin, Rik Smits, Mark jackson, the Davis Boys, Derrick Mckee and Jalen Rose. Are you kidding me? That team would absolutely demolish either of these teams tonight and I hate to think what they would do to this years Pacers. I couldn't stand those Pacers because they were so dam good. They stretched the Bulls like no other team.

Here's an old Youtube of that game...

I'm a Cleveland fan. I hated Jordan because he prevented my Cav's from probably getting at least 4 or 5 titles. The Mark Price, Ron Harper, Brad Daugherty, Hot Rod Williams, Larry Nance squads were easily the 2nd best team in the league for several years but they could never get past Jordan. But I have to call it as I see it. I have never ever seen 1 player that would show up each and every night. MJ just didn't have bad games (don't count the Wiz). I'd see him in Cleveland, then I'd go to Detroit, Chicago or Atlanta (I was in business development sales and would take top corporate types to games all over the country). Jordan would bring out all the folks like Tyson did in boxing and he would perform every single night. He never took a night off for rest like these guys do these days. He was an entertainer as much as a basketball player. The dunks he would do in traffic was simply amazing. No one could throw it down over 2 and 3 guys like he did. Think about how many times he would flash from the top of the key off of a bad FT shot and he would slam those in the hoop. I've never seen anyone else do that?

Lebron has disappeared on many occasions. When he does it looks embarrassing. He's not engaged, not excited, just out there like a ghost. The Boston series while with Cleveland. The Mav's series, many playoff games in the biggest of spotlights he shrunk under pressure. You can actually see him concede to the pressure. If MJ's jumper wasn't falling, he'd go to the hoop. If that wasn't falling, he'd keep shooting until the ball went in. He was relentless, willed himself to win. Can James play his way there? How? He's already choked in games before. MJ never choked in the spotlight. NEVER, which is why the comparison is stupid.

Some of the guys were trying to grab Jordan before he ran to the rim but he was too quick for them to hold him. He had an uncanny way of squeezing through traffic. You can even see guys on the low block trying to move over but it was usually too late. He was already in the paint and could jump higher than everyone else. He had a nasty dunk over Ewing one time where he had to be 3 feet over Ewing, looking down on him. It was sick.

I wonder if the league outlawed this or has some type of rule because I haven't seen anyone do this ever since. Come to think of it though, I don't remember anyone even in his era that did it but him???

Your right. Most of the time if a team is down by of course 1 or 2 points near the end of the game you may see it. But, that damn Jordan was unique.

I do remember Vince Carter doing that on several occasions as well. Maybe TMac too? Still very few players have ever crashed the free throw successfully.
