If the Pacers win tonight, will NBA conspiracy theories be put to rest?

If the Heat don't get past Indiana, what is left to hang on to for the conspiracy theorists? Don't get me wrong, I think the NBA is the closest pro league to the WWE, but wouldn't the Pacers winning tonight legitimize the league a bit?

Nothing is 100% Riff but this is about as close to being a lock as there is. There will always be a few examples as to why you can make an argument corruption does not exist. One ex. would be the Mavs beating the Heatles but in reality Bron was just a no show in that series so what can you do? Just hard to make a case for a league that has there poster boy at least representing the NBA in the finals basically every year for 3 decades +. And in several cases it has been done with blatant disregard for caring about image or integrity.

Well the NBA was 100% rigged at times in the past (Kings-Lakers back in the early 2000's is documented, there is no disputing it). But if the Pacers win tonight, people will have to admit that the rigging is in the past. Ratings for the NBA Finals will be HORRENDOUS if it's PAcers/Spurs. conspiracy theorists will have to shut down the complaints for at least a few years.

So many of Stern's sportsbooking buddies will be left holding the bag with Heat series & futures bets if MIA wins.

Therefore, IND will win the series.
