Teams that are up 3-0 in the series won straight up a staggering 67.5% of the time in game 4. The results showed a 27-13 record for these teams. For 2013 we saw the Spurs and the Heat both fall into this system and both picking up a sweep over their opponent. Teams going against the trend this season are the Celtics and the Rockets who both picked up wins by a narrow margin to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Taking this into account +130 to +135 is nice play. Grizz are dead money.

Plus which both of these teams were respectively 8.5 point and 11 point dogs. They lost straight up? No shit. Celtics and Rockets were the interesting cases since the lines were close to pk as it is tonight. And both kept their hopes alive.

agreed with the limitations of this stats. would like to know for conference finals or nba finals only b/c surely the majority of these 4-0 sweeps are first round mismatches. BUT THANK YOU FOR THE STAT! came on here looking for it!
