    NBA Addict's Addicted Picks 01/04/2009
Some nice games today, first one that I really like is Memphis-Dallas. The Mavericks are playing pretty good basketball and they've won 6 of their last seven games, and also made a historical comeback when they were down like 29 against Minnesota. On the other hand the Grizzlies are on a 4 game loosing streak and they just lack the size and scoring power especially with Gay playing badly as of late. The key to this game will once again be the rebounds, as Mavs are the best rebounding team in the league with Grizzlies being one of the worst and they will be without Darko who could off been a big help. The two already met twice this season in Dallas, with both games going home with 15 and 18 points margin. And there is no stopping Dirk who is obviously a fantastic shooter and his work ethics is just unparalleled.

Key Matchup: Jason Kidd vs OJ Mayo

X Factor: Jason Terry (He's been on fire this year, and coming of bench he is way more productive then when he's a starter, he is by far the first candidate for the 6th man award).

Number's Game: Dallas is 9:2 ATS in the last 11 games played on the road and they're 9:1 ATS when playing Memphis on the road in the last 10 games. Memphis is 2:4 ATS in the last six games and they're 1:4 ATS against Dallas in their last 5 matchups.

My pick is Dallas -5.5 (bought a point) with 9/10

There are some other good games today but I will wait for the lines to come out, I would like Orlando at -6, Detroit at -5 and Lakers at -6.

Ok the lines are finally out, unfortunately I don't have time to write up something more than picks, cause the games start soon and I have some work to do. So I took Orlando -6 despite Bogans being questionable because Orlando is a contender and they've been playing pretty great all season long. Also O'Neal and Calderon are doubtful for Toronto.

My pick Orlando -6 (bought a point), with 7/10

The other game is the clash of two injuries plagued teams in Clippers vs Detroit where both will be missing some key players but the quality is still on the Pistons side.

    My pick is Detroit -5.5 @ 6/10.

    1st half Detroit -3.5 @ 8/10.
