They may not even be top 10 of the past 20 years.

    - Jordan's 6 Bulls teams were all better.
    - Kobe and Shaq's three Laker teams were all better.
    - I would even debate that the Kobe and Gasol championship teams were better.

So that's 11 teams and that doesn't even include all those good Spurs teams. Lebron has already gotten swept by the Spurs once in his career.

There is no doubt in my mind that Jordan would beat Lebron. I also have good reason to think Kobe's teams would do the same. Hell, an old Kobe kicked Lebron's ass in an all-star game just last year. I realize it was just an all-star game but Lebron was so mentally dominated he wouldn't even take the last shot.

I'm not saying the Heat aren't currently the best team in the league. I'm not saying they aren't a really good team. All I'm saying is that they are no where near the greatest of all time.
Another Lebron hater, and bitter he whooped up on your Thunder.

All this comparison sh!t is nonsense. Just enjoy the great players of THIS era, and Lebron is atop of that list. Deal with it.

Oh yeah. If the Heat aren't a really good team, that must mean YOUR Thunder are garbage, even when they were the best they could be last season with a full strength squad, including Harden.

      Agreed.

Its so funny Miaim/LeBron haters ran out of shit to say once they saw how good he is and how his team is dominating the league. And since he won the ring and will likely win a few more, the best the haters can do is say 'still not the best team in history'

Anyone who thinks its possible to compare teams of different era's that never even played ONE GAME vs one another is plain and simple stupid. If it was as easy as to look at the roster of each team, and predict which team is better and would win, wouldn't all of us be super rich by betting series prices in the playoffs? No because u dont know how certain players will match up, what adjustments would be made, how the defense/offense will be executed exactly. Its just an invalid discussion, and like I said, its just something for Miami haters to talk about until this team stops dominating the league.

i like the Thunder.. but it is better that they do not make the Finals this year vs. the Heat again...

losing in the Finals twice is the kiss of death..

then people become the Buffalo Bills of the 90s (mentally)

let the heat win again this year, and come back fresh next year..*

This has nothing to do with the Thunder.

The Heat are better than OKC. When did I ever say OKC was a great team?

If I had some type of agenda wouldn't I be praising Miami as great team since they beat my team? Wouldn't that make my team look better?

I've probably said over 100x that Lebron is the best player in the world right now and the Heat are the best team. With that said, winning 1 championship doesn't man you're one of the all-time great teams.

The point of this entire thread is that this Miami team isn't one of the greatest of all-time. Are you people saying they are? I feel like most of the people that think the Heat are some all-time great team are probably pretty damn young.

Miami was pushed to the brink by an old Boston team last year and they have had probably the easiest path ever to the conference finals this year playing a sub .500 Bucks team and a Bulls team missing three starters.

I really hope they play Memphis in the Finals because they will finally have to play. Hell, Indiana will probably challenge them.

I'm not saying they are one of the greatest. Must win it first, and string together multiple championships in certain amount of years. What's that called, a dynasty?

I'm just pointing out you seem to go out of your way to dog Lebron and Heat whenever you can. Even throwing in saying that Lebron is the best, so you can have a cop-out. You are bitter, and you know it.

Remember, the Heat had Bosh out during their playoff run last year. Don't overlook their problems, and point out other teams issues. The Bulls teams are scrappy and would cause any team problems, enough of that argument. Oh yeah, the Heat beat them 4-1. Winning is winning, regardless if it is by 1 or 37.

I was a Jordan fan in the 90's, and I'm a Lebron fan now. Two different era's, that I am glad I got/get to experience them.

Comparing is pointless, just my opinion.

I don't watch MJ when I was a kid, but I don't understand if was better than Lebron how he could be THAT much better than him. The most hilarious part about this thread is this Miami team is not much different than the last 2 seasons the biggest difference each year has been 1 fuking player, battier last year, ray allen this year, they almost won the shit with mike bibby ffs the fact that the roster hasn't had any major changes since the big 3 and they are 2/2 most likely 3/3 on finals appearances and probably 2/3 for rings/appearances since the trio and they are not one of the best teams EVER while shattering records on there way to another ring this year???? are you joking???

This heat team would get shit stomped by the 99-2001 lakers easily.

No doubt. They'd have absolutely no answer for Shaq.

Im showing my age, you guys mention the 99 - 01 Lakers, while the first thing that came to my mind was the Original Showtime with Magic, Kareem and Worthy led by Pat Riley. Now that was a fun team to watch...
