2-0 Playoffs, OKC VS Memphis 5/11/2013
Oklahoma City is 15-6 SU in its last 21 games
Oklahoma City is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games
The total has gone UNDER in 9 of Oklahoma City's last 11 games
The total has gone UNDER in 8 of Oklahoma City's last 11 games on the road
Oklahoma City is 7-1 SU in its last 8 games on the road
Oklahoma City is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games when playing Memphis
The total has gone OVER in 15 of Oklahoma City's last 21 games when playing Memphis
Oklahoma City is 2-4 SU in its last 6 games when playing Memphis
Oklahoma City is 3-6 SU in its last 9 games when playing on the road against Memphis

So, why the penetrate did I pick OKC? Primarily, they're more than capable of winning this game straight up, even without Westbrook. Second, DURANTS A BEAST. Third, the two biggies on OKC (*cough* Perkins *cough*) will most definitely avoid foul trouble this game, which will lead to a stronger defense and offense. Fourth, THEY'RE FCKING OKC. THEY MAKE "BIG" HAPPEN!

Perkins is a liability. Dude has no offense unless he gets an open dunk. The Grizzlies don't even have to guard him.

They could really use that bearded guy right now.

Lots of meaningless stats in there, except maybe the under/over ones.

People act like OKC let him go. OKC couldn't afford to keep Harden, Ibaka, Westbrook, and Durant.

Obviously they locked up Westbrook and Durant so they had to part with Harden or Ibaka. Who do you keep in that situation? A 7 footer that led the league in blocks and starts or a SG that comes off the bench?

Guards are a dime a dozen but it's hard to find guys that are athletic and block shots like Ibaka. Also, Harden is about as good as he is going to be and Ibaka has a lot more upside. Obviously Harden is good enough to start but Ibaka helps the team in a different way.

As for the series, I picked Memphis before the series and I don't feel great about either one of these games but I'm not going to be on Memphis. I'll just watch the game as a fan.

If OKC can keep the game close until the last few minutes they will always have a shot because they have a closer in Durant and Memphis does not.
