Well we made it to the New Year, and although last year was a tough one for our nation, and the entire world, let's hope that this one will be a year of rebundng and prosperity. I won't be around too long tomorrow, and I may not be in a position to put up an addition to the thread, I will post my bowl selections for the day, without big write ups.

simple here - gonna play the better division getting pts. both teams have solid defenses, but the total is real low for a spurrier offense. he will try to throw - iowa is better vs the run, then the pass which could work in sc's favor.

kind of shocked that clemson has played so many unders considering the speed they have on offense - for that reason, we may be getting a bargain total here. clemson does have a solid defense, ranked 16th in the nation - but nebraska knows how to score being seasoned in the big 12. i'm going to take advantage of this low total for a big 12 team.

keeping it simple here and playing the SEC>Big 10. Both teams have great backs, but Georgia has the QB in Stafford to open things up. Mich St is also 0-3 ats as a dog this year.

the big 10 is now 0-3, while the pac 10 is 3-0 in bowl games. usc is 8-0 su/ats in their last 8 games vs the big 10. this defense is sick, and while penn st has a good defense as well, the backs on usc's side of the ball make the difference.

the big east has had the better success so far than the acc in this years bowl games. both defenses are stout with the only weakness being cincy vs the pass (67th in the nation) however, va tech cannot throw the ball (112th in the nation). i feel a tight low scoring game tomorrow night. something like 17-13 cincy.

the publics fav game to bet on tomorrow is the rose bowl and in that game usc currently 62% public.. not alot unless you consider almost twice as many bets as any other bowl game tommorow..
no way the house loses both mich st.-georgia(78%) and penn st.-usc(62%)
the big ten gets no respect and all the money will be against them

Im taking the Over 20 here in the 2nd half of the Iowa/USC game...more turnovers to come and should be some easy scores...Garcia playing like crap, anyone Spurrier puts in should not be better so either turnovers score or Iowa scores like nutz as the SC defense wears down from being on the field so much...

Be carefull USC backers the line is pretty stiff, the majority of the $ is on USC yet the line has dropped. USC is like the cowboys, and yankees getting inflated lines. Penn st is legit and im just not sold on it, be carefull the line should be sc -3 imo

i look at usc's defense; they are giving up 8 points a game and even if they give up 3 times that, penn states defense will not be able to hold usc under 30. by the time state realizes how fast the trojans are on both sides of the ball the game will be a blowout

i actually have usc -2.5 as the last piece of a couple teasers but also got them -7 , -9.5 , and the ML so lets hope USC pulls it out by 10!!
