You're looking at this all wrong, which seems to happen on this site ALL the time.

You forgot that the line is NOT what Vegas anticipates the final score differential being, the line is simply based on their PERCEPTION of public action. The line is designed to draw equal action on both sides. The bookmaker may think that the warriors get murdered in this game by 15, yet the line is not designed with that in mind.

Balancing the action, that is the only purpose of the line.
