Hope the evening finds you well, gentlemen & ladies. I'll be sitting down to enjoy a nice cold beverage and be tuning into some fine NBA action this evening. Here are tonight's plays:
1. Hornets -2
After an anemic performance yesterday, the Hornets find themselves at home, and look to bounce back big time with the support of their hometown crowd. Look for Chris Paul to have a big game and get back inline with performing as he should. Peja is still questionable, but the meager spread at home for a team that can occasionally put up the big points looks good tonight.
2. Sixers / Denver under 198
One thing is for sure when it comes down to the Philadelphia 76ers this season -- some games they just DO NOT make baskets. With the loss of Elton Brand, look for the Sixers to hobble into Denver and to go under. Samuel Dalembert has been trying to pick up Brand's slack but will never do it if he keeps shooting horrendous fadeaways and 5-10 foot jumpers. Sometimes I wonder if he's the absolute worst center in the league. Denver has also been having some shooting problems lately, and without Carmelo may lack the spark to run & post the big points.
AS ALWAYS, good luck everybody. Hope we cash tonight.
