Well, Merrrry Christmas, boys and girls!

Their are only a few games on the schedule for today...SO things are going to be tough.

New Orleans is 4-1 ats in games played in Orlando, and one basket away from being 5-0 ats. I can't sleep on that fact. I have to ride them in this game with numbers like that, and i also have to fade the Magic as they have won quite a few games in a row now. Well give me them points. Especially when the Hornets are coming in wounded (Peja is out) and off a blowout loss.

San Antonio and Phoenix are 4-1 under in games between these teams in the games played in Phoenix. Terr yPorters' slow down style is just what it is. The Spurs ar the Kings of the Slow Dance and they are accustomed to playing low scoring grind it out games. With the under hitting at such a number, the teams usually have over/under lines of 200.5, but they usually have actual scores that average 185. I will ride that total to go under, homes.

And now boys and girls, the mother of all games. The Lakers and the Celtics get to lay hands on one another on Christmas Day. The Lakers are on their first game home after a long road trip, and they might be atad tired aftr going all out agianst the Hornets to salvage a win in the last 3 games of the road trip. The Celtics are tougher than nails, and they have a lunch pail philosophy. That bodes wll in Tinsle Town as the C's are 4-1 ats in their last 5 games there. I will have to go against my purple and gold heart and go with the money on this one....

Wise selection going with the Blazers ck. As I said befor this is a different Dallas team since the Jason KIdd trade. Mavs really struggle against good teams as most of thier wins are vs sub .500 teams.

Cleveland will blow off the Wizards. This one won't even be close. A look inside the numbers shows that after Cleveland finishes with the Wizards they will have bottomed out though. So with games against OKC, Houston, New Orleans and Boston next week, the Wizards stand to get PLENTY of points on their side after this blowout tomorrow. And with Agent 0 back in the fold, he should be in form. He is shooting 400 jumpers a day. Now that's got to help things out a bit. Starting on Saturday, I declare the start of Washington Week, wherein I will take the Wizards in each game win/lose/draw. If things go as planned, I will get the Wizards and about 43 points to work with all week, and i plan on going 3-1 ats with them in that span. I don't know which teams tey will cover against, but i am feeling ths team despite the cover blow by Mike James!

Very strange movement in the New Orleans/Orlando game. With 34% of bettors on the Hornets, the line has gone from 5 to 4, a whole point...that is hard to ignore, especially with the formidable challenge the Hornets are up against in that game without Peja playing. Hmmm

i have my line on this game set at the lakers -3. the lakers have been burning tickets for a while now, and finally got into the ats win column with an impressive road win at NO.

this game has been circled on their calendars for a while now after last years finals. i like the lakers to defend their home-court in a huge xmas day game.

I heard Tuesday they were basically keeping him out for precautionary reasons and he was hoping to play Christmas, which would definitely explain the line movement although i doubt any news is gonna be definite until soon before gametime. My plays for tommorrow are:

Actually it’s all good because you didn’t break Rule #2 and we are on the same side in this game. This is the play today that will make a lot of people happy if it turns out as expected.

Note: While you know I have pretty good instincts on line movement, the line movement in the Orlando game does not affect my decision.

Orl -4.5 (they are playing good basketball right now,especially at home.With this kind of hype they give to the fans,I think that they will also give the fans the same,remember it's christmas at their home turf)

Bos +2 (I think that the lakers can't contain all the big 3 of bos,adding that rondo is playing very well lately and also their bench)

Cle -14.5 ( as CK said,this is blowout town,i agree in you with this CK)

Dal +4.5 (Josh and Dirk will have a field day on this one,I also feel that this game will also be close that in the end dal will come through with this one.Carlisle will have a defensive play to shut down roy.I know that he's scoring alot but if they can contain him below 25,dal will have a shot on this one.Don't also forget terry and barrea they also can come out big on this one also)

ORL -4 : ORL is playing very good last games, especially Howard and Nelson. Don't think NO can stop this ORL team

PHX -2.5 : PHX has a good team, they play at home and very important Ginobili is uncertain for this game. He left last game versus MIN when ankle started to bother him.

LAL ML : LAL are 14-1 @ home and think they want to proof something after the 131-92 loss in the last game of the finals last year. BOS has a real good team, is better according to me, but the game is more then this. LAL plays at home and I am sure they want to win this. Think Kobe will have a great game. Will be a good game anyway.

CLE -15 : I allways play CLE, only once they didn't cover (when OKL made a 3 point @ buzzer ) CLE is winning their games with an average of 13 points. I will also play CLE -21

POR -4 : The blazers play real good @ home going 10-2 and winning with an average of 12 points @ home. The mavs don't play their best basketball this season.

The U in the Spurs/Suns game scares me a bit. Suns are back to the running game after acquiring Richardson and the Spurs D is not what it has been in the past.

I think I like the U in the Lakers/C's game better. Boston prides itself on defending the basket and will work for the best shot possible on O. I am having a hard time pulling the trigger on the Boston ML because Kobe scares me in this situation. Don't think they have forgot about last year....

i usually do follow the angle of going against the home team - 1st game back off a long road trip. but i really feel the lakers want to avenge their finals beatdown in game 6. wish farmar were playing, but i still think the lakers take this one by 6-8 pts. playing the spurs as well. i had small leans on games many of you agree with (NO, Cleav) - so i may throw down a few pennies on those games. The Dallas/Portland game confuses me - i did have the line pegged for 4.5, and my first instinct said dallas, but need to look into that further throughout the day. Plenty of time to still cap that one, and watch the line etc...As CK proved last night, your first instinct is not always right Merry Xmas!

took the magic at -4 on my local book late last night and betus is offering the hornets at +5.5 so i took that spread as well i love both these two teams and the style they play orando is dominate at home and d howard wont be stopped by chandler or west and threes will be raining all night with these two teams, i could easily see this one going over 191 so might take a stab at that as well, liking the udner for the suns spurs game and rolling with the spurs with the points i believe gonna eat brunch first then thinking about it, the lakers are pissed they have to play on christmas day and the celtics cant wait to get their 20th straight win in LA for their fans who want this win as they were chanting beat LA and KG was laughing becasue as he was sitting on the bench and with the celtics getting points on live tv i gotta roll with these homies and ake the money to the bank, gotta go eat brunch will be back to help cap the rest later peace yall!
