LOL it's really getting sad isn't it. I am starting to feel sorry for this guy. Such an un-eventful life that he has to study the Lakers all day.

what's sick is that his own fans spends their time daily... hating on him.. complaining about him.. begging for him to sit.
and he doesn't see it.. or doesn;t care, and he goes out again.. and does the same thing. Screwing his team.
lol.. you guys aren't my team, i really couldn't give a fukk what you think

if it wasn't working.. you wouldn't be in here trying to persuade me to stop.
my goal is to expose Bryant as a horrific team player,

Nobody's in here trying to persuade you. They r in here laughing @ you & how clueless & pathetic you r. When r u going to realize what a laughingstock u r & how much you embarrass yourself daily w/ ignorance??
You can try to expose Bryant as a horrific player all u want. In the end you just embarrass yourself even more & waste your time which obviously has no value. Kobe goes down as one of the top 5-7 players of all time guaranteed & all the whining you do has literally a zero % chance of changing that. Just sit back & take it like u have been for the last 16 yrs.
"Half of them hate him right now" <-------yet another example of your ignorance. You read a couple frustrating comments from Laker fans & go to a message board to rant 'see i told u half of the fans hate him' 90% if not more of Laker fans actually love Kobe Bryant & respect all the accomplishments he achieved for himself & the organization. Nothing u can do to change that....nothing.
Tried to tell u u were a clueless laughingstock months ago. Now the whole forum bitches u & laughs @ your ignorance & u still don't see it.

I dont get why Lakers management doesn't get enough blame for all this crap happening with the team. I think 80% is their fault for simply hiring the wrong guy and basically asking for trouble when u bring in a guy like D'antoni to coach this roster.
And Shaq...they were the only two guys who could tell Kobe where to go and how long he should stay there....I will never forget the look on Kobe's face when Phil benched him for an entire 4th quarter against Phoenix back in 07....it was weeks before Kobe would try that one on one bullshit....and when he did it was against Lebron and the Heat a few years later, Phil benched him again.....lol
Now if Chris Childs could come out of retirement and slap some sense into the Mamba....they might have a shot...lolol

of course most lakers fans like kobe
but most people dont understand basketball, they are just fans of a good teams or players
a jumper over 4 defenders is more entertaining than a pass to an open teammate
but ask his teammates, trainers, coach, gm, etc etc, u may not get the same praise
i was surprised how phil jackson basically tore kobe apart in his book

but you are trying to persuade me to stop writing in this thread, it's very existence threatens your notion and ideal of Kobe that you cling to desperately to in your mind- because it delivers a sense of superiority that you crave deeply but are unable to generate independently.
You are not in here laughing at me, or you would be not using words like 'pathetic ' and 'clueless'.. those words are meant to cause pain and are what is termed in Clinical Psychology as "negative reinforcers". It is a device that a person will employ to create a desired outcome (causing psychological pain until i abandon this thread)
If you were indeed laughing at me, then you be deriving pleasure from said laughter, and would be persuading me to continue posting, and egging me on.. you are doing the opposite. Your name-calling only exposes how much pain the truth in my words cause you. my intention is not to cause you pain, but to awaken you.
Your specific brain chemistry, or the one that you derive the most pleasure from is what i call a "numbers" man.*You crave concensus,, the ''safety of being a member of the larger most dominant group". Anything that threatens the stabliity of that dominant group must be stomped out right away so that the monoploy of power may continue.
Upscope, again, i would like to thank you for informing that my efforts are working so well;*i will continue to post letters of complaint, as well as comments and concerns about Kobe from coaching and fellow players.

the Kobe-Haters club keep growing, every day in Los Angeles there are more (just read)

when Kobe goes into full on hero ball, 10 times out of 10, Dwight doesnt give it to Kobe. Ive noticed this for a while. Its pretty obvious that he doesnt want Kobe having the ball but sadly, all the other teammates are a bunch of sissies and quickly give Kobe the ball. I was watching the game yesterday and noticed that Gasol doesnt function out there until Kobe tells him to do something. There was a moment in the game where Kobe was being guarded well and the other guys were open and yet Gasol didnt even look at anyone else and just tried to get it to Kobe. It is just pathetic that everyone is scared of Kobe.

Yeah I noticed that yesterday too! Dwight had a clear pass to either Kobe or Blake to inbound the ball. He looked at Kobe almost pretended he was about to pass it to him, and then passed it to Kobe. Ah, I loved it. But then, Blake passed the mid court and immediately gave it to Kobe, so...

I understand in the 4th quarter in crunch time, give it to Kobe and get out of the way but in the 3rd quarter? For what? Also, something that ticks me off more then anything is that Kobe will never acknowledge that sometimes he messes up. He just says " We need to play better team defense" and " We need to execute better". No Kobe, dont use the word "we" if youre going to play "me" basketball. Apparently in Kobes mind, "Executing" means setting a pick for him and then he goes in for a fadeway jumpshot.

It's been Kobe's team this whole year, and look where his selfishness has gotten us. Sometimes you gotta place blame where it's due, and right now, it's on Kobe. No denying it. Lack of ball movement comes from Kobe, you don't need to be a genius to figure that one out.
Kobe should call his idol MJ and ask for tips on how to play without stagnating the offense. That's one thing Mike was better at, playing within a team concept yet still dominating. So much of Bryant is 1 on 1, he doesn't really move without the ball.

Kobe is one reason a big reason why there is no fluidity to the offense. You move the ball around and he won't even shoot the open shot, he will pump fake and then start to size his man up, it's frustrating. Come fourth quarter Kobe feels its his ball and everything must go through him.
Question:how do teammates suppose to consistently ignore a player who is consistently waving for the ball, yelling whooh, to get the ball or once its inbounded, he's coming to get the ball? This will go on until retirement.
Actually we made a run in the 2nd quarter, without him, and got up by 14. When he came in that lead disappeared and we went to halftime by only 3. In the 4th it was basically the same thing. We were only down by 2 before he came in, and we eventually lost by 10 or so. So your initial thought was correct. The Bucks didn't make a run with Kobe on the bench.

When Kobe was 28 , it was a trade off. And he so great he could make it work to a large extent. But at 34 , it hurts like hell. In fact, not just this year, but for the last three years it has hurt this team. The teams that got booted by Dallas and OKC could have been better had Kobe played a more egalitarian form of ball because when you have many weapons, its better to use them all than just have them there as maniquins. But really, that is what they are and have been. Yes, Kobe will throw scraps once in a while, but none of teams in the last three years are close as good and diversified as they could have been and should have been. Yet it keeps going on through all the losses and all the months.
No matter what is going on, no matter how bad it gets, no matter how old he is, no matter the evidence against him playing it this way so late in his career, he just can't stop. And anyone who followed him all his career knew it woudn't stop, ever. One could even predict it, years ago, like um, someone here did years ago, lol. One could write a thread about it now, perhaps calling it the sad, inevitable end of Kobe Bryant. Hmmm...where have I heard that before....it almost rings a bell. Yeah, people gave that thread plenty of heat and negative reps. But baby, we are living it all year. Courtesy of Kobe Bryant. And yeah, it was just that sad and predictable. And all the attacks and neg votes by the fans who can't take the truth aint gonna change the reality that keeps smacking this team in the face, the blows being given by its own "leader" and best player.
And the truth is, at 34, if he keeps doing it, this team is done FOR GOOD.

I agree with you, that Litmus test is Phil Jackson (the Zen Master) if anyone of his disposition and character, painted an ill picture of Kobe's character, that is all that need to be said on the matter.
when Kobe was accused of rape, he recounted that he acted utterly shocked on the phone, when informed of the news, but privately thought it consistent with the behavior he demonstrated behind closed doors.
Jackson wrote he became so frustrated with Bryant that he told general manager Mitch Kupchak in January: "I won't coach this team next year if he is still here. He won't listen to anyone. I've had it with this kid."*
you are a not a cool-camper if you force the Zen Master into this.. lol..

Ratzz, you were hating on the HEat during their streak as well. I've come to the conclusion that you just hate successful people. Jealous of them I suppose because you failed in your personal life. Just look at you avatar, a fictional character named Roy Hobbs who could of been the best but in the end failed because of a mistake, so I think you feel some sort of connection with him because in your mind you could have been great at something but aren't because you failed somewhere along the way.So now, you just hate success. I suspect you have issues deep down that need resolving...

incorrect.
1)i am a Heat fan... LBJ mostly (want him to win at least two)*
i am a Thunder fan, (whole team, really)
a Clipper fan (Paul, want him to win Ring) Griffin.. too, like team
after that it depends on who has been in the league the longest who deserves a Ring..
i want everyone to get one. If Kobe had never won a Ring, i would be rooting for him this year.
I rooted for Dirk very hard, over Lebron (older, more time in league, thought it was his last true shot)
2)*i was not hating on Heat, i was merely advising them not to blow all of their precious energy on a HUGE streak.
3) NFL: If i was a Patriot fan, i would have been advising them NOT to try to go undefeated.
That effort took much out of them, and they sucked in the Superbowl.. 14 pts.
they should have sucked for at least one game in the reg. season...
then they would have won the Superbowl..*and they would have been fine.
Last night’s Lakers loss to the Milwaukee Bucks was the latest of a season of inexplicable losses that have this team on the verge of missing the postseason. As the team continues to unravel, whether through injuries or just poor play, nothing seems to work correctly for L.A. for an extended period of time. —- […]
Pau acknowledged ball-stopping offense, saying the ball needs to switch sides of the floor: "Sometimes we have to go away from Kobe."
And what do you know....Kobe scores 19 pts...mind you on 5 for 18 shooting(more ball hogging).....but most importantly, 14 assists....with 6 players in double figures. Lakers win.......He was probably reading this very thread.....lol

Thank you, Menses. great post... after every loss , people complain about lack of ball movement, and less 1-on-1 basketball...*
inferring that Kobe's play style IS the problem, without calling him by name.
Gasol has been silent for soooo long, glad to see him speak up directly and point out the problem// good on him.
i also give Kudos to LakerNation.com for publishing that... they are also starting to turn...
in other news, Riffraff, Upscope both believe that you, JSmith, and i are the same person creating the illusion of consensus..
they cannot possibly understand that any of this is true and that more than one person might think any of this.
complete denial and blindness. next year worse.
at least Howard is there to pass to now. He won't be next year for the above mentioned reasons

but the problem is these lakers/kobe supporters seem brainwashed
kobe can do no wrong, lakers can do no wrong
any criticism is referred to their past success or ur a hater or jealous
its really similar to dallas cowboys fans
what i have realized is this forum is very biased towards certain players
plenty of comments about howard being a bitch but what about derrick rose ?
dwight came back early from major surgery and he was routinely squashed for his play
while the other is chilling, waiting for gang signs from god to suit up
