What is up with Miami's schedule?
I am surprised nobody else is talking about this... The defending champs have such an easy schedule.. The only good teams that they have played is when they are at home (Ind, Mem, Lac). The only game they won that was very tough was in OKC.. They played a Rondo/KG-less Boston team and a slumping NYK team without some players as well. Other than that all the games are against the Pistons, Magic, Raptors, Bobcats, Cavs?

I guess the eastern conference is pretty weak this year but this is ridiculous..

ESPN is the only hyping up Miami's streak. their 27 game streak is overrated

Yeah it is way overrated. I mean I am a believer that all NBA teams are decent and to win that many in a row is impressive... but they are making it sound like its some historic and monumental task...

the Heat are 2-7 ATS as a double-digit fav on this run. ORL +13 is the play.

All the teams they've played at home, they've also played on the road. So I don't know how u can say they have an 'easy schedule' because its a full season and every teams schedule is pretty similar when its all said and done.

Well it does even out somewhat but hypothetically they should have the hardest schedule which I'm not sure they have. It does have to do a lot with the fact that the teams like Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago are greatly underperforming, but the only decent teams they have played on the road are against teams with several injuries. The only good team they have played on the road is OKC....

NBA teams play a home & home vs non conference teams (30 games)
They play each division opponent 4 times, 2 @ home & 2 away (16 games)
They play six non division conference teams 4 times (2h, 2,a), & 4 non division conference teams 3 times.

NBA schedules couldn't be any more fairer. Every conference team plays as close to an identical schedule as you could possibly get.

                        gotta love LeBron/Miami haters....

I was always curious what they'd have to say after they won last year...so now the apparent hot topic is 'easy schedule' and 'easy competition' and 'other teams are injured'. Love it.

They are only a couple games ahead of the Spurs and OKC in the race for best record in the league and this is with getting to play Eastern conference bums every other game. Put them in the West and they'd be lucky to get the 3 seed. That old team couldn't play against good competition every night for 82 games.

The teams in the east are pretty bad , You cant guarantee any of them are gonna win even against sub par team. Indiana is suppose to be the toughest and they couldnt beat the sixers and than the bulls with out Noah ,Rose and Hamilton. These Teams are so weak now a days. I think Miami got a gift this year that no one else is to competitive especially in the east even though bulls and knicks beat them twice a piece. That being said no matter what it is still impressive to win 27 games in a row, you def cant take that away from them which I do hate that team. I am a bulls fan lol

Yeah without a doubt the east being weak is the biggest contributor to their streak. I said myself that it was impressive. I was just making the argument that the hype behind it is silly because they haven't had to beat any better teams.

I like the argument that hypothetically they will have the easiest schedule because they dont have to play themselves lol. But still... talk about an easy stretch. Im a Phoenix fan and if my team had the same schedule they would be above .500.....

27 game win streak is just crazy
look at the nuggets getting raped by a team thats 22 games under .500
their streak is what ..... 15 games?
its tough to play that consistent over such a long period
eventually u will suck and the other team cant miss
