Hey guys I got a question to ask, this might sound silly but I'm just a newbie. Let's assume that for the Celtics vs Hawks game, if the majority of the public is on the Celtics pointspread, then does that mean that the Hawks has a better change of winning their spread? Thank you.

Nope! The game is played on the court and no one knows the outcome of the game. The public is also considered square betters and a majority of them do nothing more than pick the game instead of actually handicapping. For example, everyone (public) was on the Lakers tonight and you can see what happened in that game.Comment
