All that I know is, whatever the spread is at the half, there is no line that the Patriots couldn't cover against the pathetic Raiders. It would in all likelihood go under too. I think that the Raiders are the worst team I football. I really wonder how they won three games looking at this performance. To their credit most of their players know which sideline to go to on fourth down. They are weak to say the least.

Hey africanroller, any more thoughts on NHL? Liking the over in COL/CHI game. Both teams seem to put on the scoring when playing teasm vs. their division.
COlumbus 3.2 goals scored versus 3.8 against vs div
Chicago 3.5 goasl scored versus 4.2 against div.
Add to the fact that Khabibulin he is 6-8-2 with a tie and a 3.39 goals-against average in 17 matchups against Columbus. In the last 5 meetings head to head the over is 4-1.Comment -

Hey BigMoney, up here in snow country it's all about hockey hockey hockey! All kinding aside, i find it ok at times. You have your real good teams who can go 5,6,7, + games on a winnnig and you have your real bad teams who go on loooong losing skids. I find with the middle of the pack teams that usually win 3 maybe 4 games in a row and 3 or 4 losing in a row. It's easier to fade them or play them that way. And in hockey there are alot of middlle of the pack teams.
Any advice as to why to not play?
BTW, between you and CK, they way you guys can determine the games is awesome. I tip my hat to the both of you guys.

It is har to be consistent because the goal is soo hard to hit. Add the fact that if you do have a team like the bruins that are on fire you only win a .5 unit each game. So you have to win 4 out of 2 to be even. You get it? i think there more advatage with spread. BTW no real player ever gives up 2-1 maybe 1.3 to 1 at best. Tink about it if I win 4 in a row I am up 1.5 witch is one. Yoiur going to lay 4 gs to get one? No way start do we take the ml in b balll. just cause they offer it doesn't mean its a good bet.
Side note: in baseball never take a -200 team ever expecially Boston at home.
