Jefferson is dealing with a sprained ankle and did not play Thursday against the Bobcats. He has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bucks.

Al Jefferson out, Paul Millsap game-time call


Al Jefferson (ankle) will not play on Monday, while Paul Millsap (ankle) is a game-time decision.

Millsap was also a game-time decision in Utah's previous game and wound up sitting out, so it's possible he tests his ankle in pre-game shootaround to see if he can give it a go. Without Jefferson, the Jazz will start either Enes Kanter or Derrick Favors in the middle, and either makes for a nice plug-and-play option with Jefferson definitely sidelined. Kanter is coming off of a massive double-double while Favors struggled with foul trouble without Jefferson and Millsap against the Bobcats. If Millsap is able to play, Favors is expected to start instead of Kanter.
