2-3 Team Parlays. What Do You Guys Think?
Been doing well the last few weeks hitting multiple 2-3 team parlays. Would this be a good scheme for the long run? I just hit a parlay with the Lakers, Spurs, and Pacers and it was around +120. I was thinking about posting my parlay for the day here and if you guys could give me advice that would be great. I'm also a college student so I'm not going to be throwing down thousands on a game. Maybe around $50-$100. Lets see how this goes!

I like playing small parlays too. Got Heat, Clippers, Grizz, Wizards, Spurs and Lakers today. Lost because of Clips.

Leaning towards Heat, Bucks, Blazers and Nuggets.

      Short answer: No

      Long answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooo

Reason: If there were an easy way to make money everyone would be doing it. This is gonna cost you more than it nets you over the long run, and you just happen to be in a upswing at the moment

It's less glamorous but I would take your top plays and just bet them straight up with smaller amounts instead. Parlays have the high risk / high reward but there's almost always going to be that one play that screws the whole thing. That's the whole premise behind the books even offering them, they get exponentially harder to cash the more games you add.

At least if you hit 2 out of 3 betting straight up you still come out ahead, even though you might miss that elusive 'big payout' once in a while.

Maybe bet smaller amounts (~5% of your roll) on the games straight up, then you can still do a tiny parlay on the side for like $1-10 if you want.
