How are the Clippers only -14.5 tomorrow against Charlotte?

Now this is bwin.com so it may very well come out at a more expected -16.5 or so on US books. But seriously, I know the books will never come out with a +22 spread but it seems only that would do justice to how bad this Bobcats team is. This could easily be a 115-66 game

I have never seen an NBA spread above -15.5 in a long time. I think the Clippers can easily walk over them, but I will never bet a spread about 6 or 7 on any game, too many unknowns when it gets to cover by DDs

I remember the Thunder were -16.5 against the Bobcats last year once and they won by at least 25.

Yeah I remember the Celtics being favored by 18 over Cleveland in 10/11. Don't think I've ever seen 20.

but if denver were favored by 10 against them on the road on a b2b, then surely the clippers, who are a far better team than denver and are at home should be favored by like 16-17? we'll see but I predict the opening line on Pinny will be at least -15.5

Assuming the public will be all over the Clippers you gotta love the 1st half play. Typically Clippers will dominate a bottom feeder like Charlotte and ease off the gas when they got the game in the pocket. -14.5 seems like a number that Charlotte SHOULD cover cause no way are the Clippers going to go all out like they would a playoff-off bound team. I still have memories of the Rockets/Clippers game where they eased up in the 2nd half and allowed Rocket backers to cover. Bobcats are no Rockets but being a very bad team can sometimes be just as good ATS as a pretty good team.

Aren't the Bobcats a HORRIBLE Ats team as well? They were like 20 games under .500 last year Ats and are on pace to be so as well this year.
