This makes no sense. A unit can be whatever you want it to be based on your bankroll. While some people's units are $10 other people make theirs $782 a unit. So 100x or whatever you want to say is completely irrelevant. Publicly announcing units are more for accurate record keeping where all bets are risking 1 unit to win 0.91 units. Its to keep touts honest

I'm sorry, but I disagree with that statement: if I typically bet 100 dollars a game, 100 dollars is "ONE" unit - I can't arbitrarily decide that I'm going to make 5 dollars "ONE" unit, thereby making all my bets "20 UNITS", and making myself look like a baller in the process.

And, no, you are right - it really shouldn't matter what anyone bets. I have the same amount of respect for someone who bets 10 dollars a game or 100 dollars a game - it's all about what you can comfortably afford to bet.

How in the world could any one know that your unit is $100? So your saying that a bet 20 units makes someone look like a "baller"!? No, it makes you look like a "rookie" and everyone but the uninformed sees right through it as experienced betters know that 20 units could be 20 cents or $20,000. Plus, no legitimate or experienced better ever bets 20x their base bet, that's called degeneracy.

it seems like every night theres some idiot posting a 100 unit or "win or i leave this forum" or "lock of the century 10000 units" play... they all lsoe... and they come back two days later with another one except they double their units or add a 0 to multiply by 10
