That is what is driving down the over/uner line. He is a 20 point per game scorer. It doesn't matter. The guys you spoke of will take up the slack. I am still on the over anyway, and it is too late, as i took it at 214 anyway. I still like the oroginal number! 214 will be acheived with ease by the Lakers side of the equation.

I love ORL 1st half... they ride momentum in, they're great in the first half, and they owe portland a gut check... still holding off on the game spread, but i've posted the half spread, as that is probably one of the best plays on the board imho... orlando catching points on the road in the first... i'd play that just about any time. still holding off on the game spread, because i want to look into some other plays...

I love fading the jazz on the road situationally, and so far things look good... i feel like most of my successful road fades on them have invovled them as 4.5 point favorites. HEAVY money is on the jazz, yet the books have only let that line slide by a soft .5, last year, the jazz handled their business at home, but lost in MINNY by scores of 111-100, and 110-103. With all the ins and outs in the jazz's lineup, theirs sure to be funny minute mixing and they already struggle to handle business on the road... if anyone has injury news, that might help, but right now i'm playing for kevin mchale to come in and make a splash in his debut, because it's time to put up or get out of minny. Also, minny came back from a 3 game roaddy and already had their return let down. This is only the 3rd time they have played two straight at home, and that's the most they've done in a row at home; it's time to make something of that. Debating on a small ML play, but right now i'm fixing to wait and see if i can get that spread up to +6 because 90%+ is still on the jazz like the books just tossed a cookie at them...

the books can't even get 15% of the public to bet on washington, but they seem strangely complacent about that line... probably because they just don't mind the payday. AI has tweaked that pistons chemistry in a way i couldn't have anticipated and the line here shows it as they are not even 5 pt favorites against the lowly wiz. the wiz meanwhile have played some very tough games in their last 3, almost knocking off the lakers and covering against the blazers, even if they can't reward me for a small ML play, they should be good to keep it within 4 and at worst lose a heartbreaker (AI can deliver those)
SA -1 1st half
That line is acting awefully fishy right now, simulating that cave in spread that i blather about all the time, and that's normally enough to keep me from fading the team that dropped as favs... however i can't ignore how the spurs are getting it done on the road more than at home, the way that they have vengence on the mind against dallas and they way that they are a professional team that knows how to come out and attack on the road. Hopefully for spurs backers they hold on, but i'm just not comfortable following them past the first half.
still checking things out, but i'm waiting until late to play the t-wolves and the wiz, in the mean time i'm peeping that board... SAC +12 looks kinda interesting because of their history against the lakers and that line movement, but as much as the lakers have struggled down the stretch in games lately, i think they may hate the kings enough to get the cover here... may think about that overComment -

But yes, the book on games where there is no moneyline offered is usually the sign of a blowout. One that comes to mind was a game earlier this year in college football where TCU had no moneyline against Wyoming with a spread of 32. And of course, they blew them out 54-7. But anyway, I was told by a reputable source that whenever i see that kind of thing, stop everything else that I am doing and take just that game, which of course I did that Saturday, with a neat, huge play. Day has started off well Cashing the ticket on Liverpool in the Champions league. Got to love when you get the favorite at +137.
I think I am back on board with Davidson at +2 for a small play as nothing makes sense in that game.
As far as Texas and Nova I am not playing this game. Texas lost to Notre dame by 1 and beat UCLA their last time out. The only team that Nova has played is Rhode Island. Texas is bigger and faster and should be able to run the floor.Comment -

As the days goes along, I am liking the Kings at home catching 12.5 more and more. And for some reason I feel that they play better without Martin in the lineup.The team has bee together long enough to play well when they need to. This game has shoot out written all over it. I think that the Kings can keep it within the number. I will have my final call on this game tonight a half hour before gametime. I smell an outright underdog win on this one. The more i keep talking to the Missus about this game the more intrigued i become about taking the dog and the dog moneyline. It is hard as hell to beat a team both straight up and ats 6 times straight with 3 of the last games being double digit wins. It worked for her with the Hawks last year in the playoffs against the Celtics.
And the moneyline of -1000 is incorrect for a line of -11.5. An 11.5 spread should have a moneyline of no more than -550 at the most. Incredible. I haven't seen a more wrong moneyline than this one in a while.
Something is very fishy about this game and the moneyliine is telling me the Lakers are overvalued in this game, and when that happens the favorite is in danger of losing a game straight up.Comment -

I can't shake that feeling either... kings hate the lakers and the lakers haven't been closing out games lately, especially on the road... add that reverse line movement, and i can't keep off the kings.
