JetLife's 2nd Quarter Plays
Lurked covers and realized how bad of a forum it is, so I decided to take my picks here instead of there. Been following the NBA and have been decently successful capping games. Noticed a trend with 2nd quarter spreads when two teams play each other with one of the teams having over 10 more wins than the other. Betting the team that has over 10 wins on its opponent for the 2nd quarter has proven to be fairly profitable. Not really a system I took time to think out, nor is one based an major calculations, just set it at over 10 games (if its exactly 10 more wins its a no play). Home-court advantage doesn't play a role here either I believe as all 3 wins on Monday were road teams (Boston, San Antonio and Clip Show). IDK which books give you guys 2nd quarter spreads but I'm on bet365. I always bet the 2nd quarter spread pregame as I don't want anything from the first quarter affecting the 2nd quarter spread. Also tried this with other quarters and didn't work as well.
Since you guys won't believe which plays I made and what percentage I hit because I never kept official record of them, here's the "system" record if someone bet every single game that this applied to (many of the losses and pushes are games I would have never bet such as games with Chris Paul not playing for the clips and San Antonio missing starters, Brooklyn playing at Washington etc but I included them anyway). This also doesn't include games I would have played regardless of being under 10 wins (such as OKC playing Memphis right after the Rudy Gay deal).
23-10-4 (dating back to Wed Jan 30 2013) Don't believe me? Then go check the box scores and the game spreads for yourself. Last night was pretty bad (1-1-2) with a Memphis and Miami push, OKC loss and a Denver win.

Knicks and Spurs didn't show up...Indiana moosed the 2nd quarter. Funny how I lose once I start posting them...oh well the record speaks for itself.
