Heat finally home after a 4-game road trip and on a back to back, teams usually do not give a 100% against a shitty team like Charlotte. I'll take the points on this spot any day.

Despite the Heat being one of the top 2 teams in the league they are far from winners when it comes to ATS. That is why everyone complains that the Heat don't show up when they bet them and do when they don't. The problem with Heat is that they don't try their hardest to win every game and winning is usually a product of motivation. That is why they are only good for situational bets and should be avoided if possible. They can lose you a lot of money. I wouldn't bet this game but if I did I would take Charlotte and the points. They could lose by 30 but then again i would never bet a game in this situation.

I thought the heat wouldn't put up a big fight in Toronto yesterday, and they beat them by 15 points. I don't think they have to play 100% to cover against Charlotte. Probably wont touch this.

Miami has a tough stretch of games against Western Conference teams coming up before the all-star break. Also, with the win in their last game, they locked in Spoelstra to be the Eastern Conference coach for the All-Star game.

If I had to pick a game where the Heat's energy, focus, and motivation would be less than sharp, it would be this one. Bobcats +14 for me.
