Lets recap this Friday night in the NBA. Nothing strange eh?
    • The Grizzlies and Nets score 111 in the first half and 67 in the second half, including only 2 points in the final 3:27 of the game. The total stays under by a point.
    • Dallas goes on a 11-0 run in the final minute to cover the 2nd half spread by .5
    • Boston can't cover +5 despite having a 24 point lead.
    • Milwaukee can't even win the game despite having a 22 point lead
    • OKC is up as many as 25 in the second half, end up winning by 10. People that had OKC -3.5 second half lose by .5.
    • In a 20 point game (LA/Utah), the refs call a foul with 2.2 seconds left. The total ends up going over by .5

Nothing strange. It's just a coincidence all of these heart breakers lose by .5 or 1.

Interesting summary of what happened last night. The NBA can be totally insane sometimes. To be correct, it was the 2H game total in the LA/Utah game that went over by 0.5, not the game total. Not that it matters, but just saying.

Just another night typical night of bad product in the NBA filled with blow-outs for the most part!

1 thing about these strange #s is that there is two sides of the coin.
I try to never bet on an NBA game if I can find a site stating 65% or more are on that side.
This way, it is possible to be on the books side more often.
Either way, the product sucks.Too many games, too many marginal players.
How great would the league be with 24 teams, 50 game regular season.6 div. winners, 2 wildcard.
Never happen, but the games would be great.

Yep -- shooting foul with 9 seconds left in a 20-point game. Add it to the list BigD.

Why don't you over analyze every game and look out how most games are not within 0.5 of the spread? It's just as arbitrary as that. Are you saying that Boston lost on purpose? It happens. I mean I really doubt Mcgrady was aware of the O/U when he scored 13 pts in 33 seconds lol
