Dantoni walked into a bad situation not having anything to do with the pieces already included. He actually did a good thing for himself! He gets paid for his deal and only has to talk his way through for a lot of money (which he does do a bad job of) seeing how the Lakers really can't fire him without paying his contract!! The guy that keeps going under the radar is Kupshit!!! He really is poor at getting fresh athletes. West bailed the Lakers out and made this guy look as if he was a GM. Gasol trade at the time being just one example.
