i really think it's a bad time to fade a pissed off orlando team that just the crap kicked out of them by boston... good teams respond to big losses and the t-wolves on the road are a team i rarely risk a play on... only time i have in recent memory, i got burned on them in charlotte. If i was on anything here it'd be orlando, but those statistics are at least enough to get me to stay off that game all together... i just think there are better plays on the board.Comment -

Holy cow! I took a midday nap and overslept! I was waiting for my book to post 1st Half lines for New Orleans so I could make my play. But now Nash is out/doubtful. And everyone knows how bad Phoenix is without Nash.
The spread for the game shot up from -5.5 to -8.5. This spread still looks good considering how well New Orleans plays against Phoenix. If my book offers it, I'll still be on the Hornets 1st Half, and Hornets for the game.Comment -

On to brass taxes. Boston was made -7.5 at the half already up by 6, which means that they linemakers truly believe that they will cover the game spread. those who missed out can now jump on it. I got them at -12, so i'm gonna lay off, but the line was 14 at gametime.
BigMoney and I are waiting for Houston to go the half against the Clippers and then pound Houston 2nd half. I think that the Clips will cover the 1st half tonight with the carry over effect working for themComment -

We're gonna get back door'd on Atlanta. I can just see it already. Up 10 with 19 seconds to go is not a good thing. if Memephis makes their bucket and decides not to foul, then this game is over and the back door is open. hopefully Atlanta doesn't play that end of the game matador defense and tries to stop the easy give away layup bucket that teams usually give up to keep the clock running.Comment -

I'm looking forward to the 2nd Half line for the Clippers/Rockets game. Clippers are coming off of a back-to-back against Dallas, where they blew a huge 1st Half lead and ended up losing the game. They ought to be feeling tired, and if they're not tired now, their legs will feel like rubber by the fourth quarter.
With less than 3 minutes in the 2nd quarter, Clippers are shooting 42.5% from the field. Rockets are worse, shooting just 37.1%, which is just plain shameful right now. A good half-time locker room pep-talk should fix them right upComment -
