I'm for sure going to play pistons, scary but maybe celtics won't care about this one.

I'm playing the Pistons myself. Although they do tend to collapse and sometimes not show up, that's no the case when the play the Celtics. Everybody just wants to pound an elite or public team.

Maybe Boston won't care about a team that blew them out by 20 points last meeting after having lost 2 in a row at home and trying to hang onto 8th seed and progress?

I suspect a large amount of sarcasm in your statement freeze. Boston is square a hell, but I can't ignore the spot they are in. Doc and the veterans should respond today.

It was sarcasm. Ppl thinking a Boston team that has played mediocre this season and has started back towards trying to do something, then loses 2 at home (loss vs Bulls heartbreaker), and playing a team that blew them out last game is just coming to play a whatever game is crazy. Bostons coming to play first of all for the win and standing and second of all to get back a lousy Detroit team that blew them out last game.

Only thing that worries me is that Detroit is a bad matchup for the Celts. Prince can defend Pierce with his length, and the younger Pistons can out run the Celts. But if the Celts can slow the game down and dictate tempo, they'll cover.

Rondo does a good job of setting up which will slow it down enough. I think the fact that the Celtics will be coming to play and in no way overconfident will be good enough for this Celtics team to take it.

Even if he doesn't I don't see them not covering this. Teams and 2nd strings step up when a key player is out. Always been a golden rule in sports betting.

Sounds a lot like the Houston game last night against Minnesota.
