    i see the rockets are a popular pick tonight
    some people are talking about rockets ML at Indiana..the spread was at 5.5 last night and now down to 4.5

    anyone have a write up on this pick? Any thoughts on why you think rockets are the pick?

              Rockets on losing streak, they're not a great team but decent enough not to have a large losing streak. People just playing the odds that the streak will be over sooner than later. Rockets will win one of their next three games to end the streak though.

                  thats what it seems like, people just trying to hit the next game rockets win or cover. indy is good at home, great defense..i say take the better team.

                          FWIW, rockets 8-1 ATS @ home vs. eastern (avg cover 10 points) source: killersports.com

                          trying to decide in my mind if extremely strong trends like this have value in forecasting the future.

                          okc and SAS have some extremely lopsided ATS records in certain common situations too.

                                  Indy seems to have every advantage here, front court, back court, defense, bench, home court, etc...looks like a tough task for a slumping houston squad.

                                          rockets are good on road vs. east too. but not as good as at home.
