7 points. On their home floor. Ahead 83-81. Against the defending champs. With an offensive-minded coach. In the biggest regular-season game of the year so far.

If you have any doubts about how truly dysfunctional and disenfranchised this team is, there's your answer.

lol.. what a bunch of losers... i can't believe this is the most expensive team in basketball...

this franchise is so screwed now..

    Kobe 2 more years.. $30M a pop
    Nash 2 more years $9M/per
Howard leaves/ZERO compensation, cost them one 1st Round pick.

Nash cost them 4 picks, two 1st Round Picks AND two 2nd Round Picks. *WOW.
people blow right by him on defense like he's not there at all. Hilarious.

all told, Sessions, Nash, Howard cost them four 1st Picks, and two 2nd Round Picks.

THAT IS HALF A DECADE OF 1ST ROUND PICKS. i wish i could tell you how screwed they are.
Lakers fans always say "it's kool, we'l just reload"

it really doesn't work like that, ladies, KOBE is a Free Agent repellant.
Why would you join a team*knowing that your touches are about to plummet
because Kobe insists on missing 17-20 shots a game.?

I don't think anyone who has watched Lakers this year was surprised by that.

The fact that Lakers kept it competitive for most of the game is good enough imo...eventhough scoreboard shows otherwise, I consider it a win for them.
